A-levels are qualifications people in the UK do from age 16 to 18 (except in Scotland, which has a separate system) . Generally if you want to go to university, you should do A-levels. Students typically only do 3-5 subjects for A-level, so they can be quite in depth compared to the wider education you get in American high schools. You specialise very early in the UK compared to the US.

I think Henry VII was the rightful king. Lancastrian claim was based on Edward III’s will and Salic law which was a little bit hypocrite considering he based him claim of French throne on his mother. York’s claim was based on Richard II and precedents in England. Although his great grandfather was born a bastard but John of Guant married his mother after his wife died. Richard II acknowledged the legitimacy of Henry VII’s grandfather but denied his claimant on throne. However the Lancaster claim had nothing to do with Richard II from the start. And Henry VII was indeed the closest relative of Henry VI after his son died.
