Many people tell me that the early Modern English in the Authorized Version is a hindrance. I tell them that if they allow that to be a stumbling block, then they're going to have a real hard time grasping the theology in scripture.
Thanks for sharing! Interesting facts about the King James Bible kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGrJnaV9rJ1lb5Y

@@TT-hm7le I want to clarify, this is not to come across as aggressive. 1. "Mostly added later" does not mean entirely, and is based on assumption. "not found in majority byzantine manuscripts", if so, this does not mean certain words do or do not belong there or here. 2. "The original text". No one has proven to have the original text of any ancient text. To use phrases such as "original", is dishonest. 3. Joseph is not the Father of Jesus, however, he is the parent in the sense of law. Mary is the mother of Jesus, and is the parent in the sense of law and literal or biologically. 4. This is to assume we have the original text to compare to, yet we do not. This goes both ways regarding assumption or faith of what the word should be.

Thank you for your text. We know that Hebrew has no vowels! But the KJV is in English. Even Nehemiah Gordon the Hebrew scholar says the name is pronounced Jehovah! God bless you Bill Uk

Thank you for this beautiful edition. Is God’s name really Yahweh and not Yehovah? My KJVs publish it in English as Jehovah. E.g. Psalm 83. God Bess you Bill. Uk

No one knows how to truly pronounce it. Hebrew has no vowels. The scribes used what is called vowel pointing to let the reader know how to pronounce a word. That pointing has now been lost.

Standard practice is to NOT wear gloves when handling antiquarian books, particularly in turning the pages.

The KJV is one of the worst bibles along with the New world. Satan is called the great deceiver and has like 30% of the religious world believing the worst bible is the best , Unbelievable.

Do you have any provable, fact-based evidence of anything spiritual in the bible? And by "evidence" I mean, NOT any hearsay, feelings, faith, beliefs, hopes, coincidences or bible stories written by man.

This my second post, someone doesn’t like the truth, or wants anyone else to know either! The Hebrew of OT, and the Greek of the NT are mathematical languages in their nature. It is mathematically impossible for anyone to have written any part of the Bible apart from God! In the same fashion, to show you that God did inspire the translation of the KJB. There is a video that shows how the KJB is mathematically perfect. I will post it separately when you respond since someone doesn’t like the truth!

@@claytonsmith6148 I' have noticed that many can find within the Bible anything they look for - whether based on numerology or paranoia. Of course God is instrumental in writers' pursuit - obviously inspirational but I suppose -as usual- there is no fact-based evidence to add to the mix. Sadly, the simple query that I asked for has never been answered.

@CellularEarthReality-kw7pq Lol That poor exegesis of Matthew 23:9 has been refuted a million times. Even when I was Protestant, I never believed your poor interpret. Paul calls himself a father 1 Corinthians 4:14-15 (D-R): I write not these things to confound you: but I admonish you as my dearest children. 15 For if you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, by the gospel, I have begotten you. Calling Timothy his son so he is calling himself Timothy's father 1 Timothy 1:2 (D-R): To Timothy, his beloved son in faith. Paul ordained priests so he was a bishop Titus 1:5 (D-R): For this cause I left thee in Crete: that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee: www.catholic.com/tract/call-no-man-father

@CellularEarthReality-kw7pq That's another you MISINTERPRET. Scripture is clear. Authority rests with the Church not some book that the Church compiled. You follow a book with your interpretation and I follow Jesus Christ and His interpretation. So I'm good. Those who go deep in Scripture and history become Catholic. Thousands of former Protestant ministers have converted to Catholicism, some were biblical scholars. Without the Catholic Church, it's just one person's opinion against another. And we know what Jesus said to do. Matthew 18:17 to listen to the Church.
