It's so good that Kong loves Ann. Naomi Watts was perfectly cast as Ann Darrow. She was stunningly pretty in this movie. Anyone would have fallen under her spell. No wonder Kong fell for her as well. They gave Kong and Ann a way better story arc in Peter Jackson's movie than in the other King Kong versions.

Kong went insane and turned hostile towards any animal that comes near him including humans all from being the last of his kind and seeing his family and friends die one by one and constantly having to defend himself from predators and living all alone everyday for years. But he finally found a friend and someone to love through Ann and didn’t feel all alone anymore and finally showed his gentle and friendly side. Such a great movie.

I love how in this version, Ann actually likes and cares for Kong back. One of the few things i don't like in the original is that she always screams whenever Kong picks her up and carries her around. I don't mind it when she first meets Kong cuz ANYONE would be terrified of a 25ft gorilla, but even after Kong saves her numerous times, she still screams her head off, and it gets old after awhile. Some say it makes the original Kong even more tragic cuz she doesn't love him back, but i find it annoying and sometimes frustrated cuz i'm like, "Dude, he saved your life! Be grateful!!" But thats just a nitpick.

What the hell are u talking about? 1) Too long? Many movies which had potential failed especially because of the lenght of the movie. They had no time to really show what and why happening, such as Warcraft. They basically trashed a huge potential because they tried to show everything in 2 hours. And of course they failed so hard that there will be no second movie. Lenght of the movie is PERFECT. 2) Fell flat? The movie was a huge success, I dont know what you are talking about.

Well until the island sank due to a massive sized earthquake in 1936 (within this film's world; explained on Skull island: The Natural History) the V-rex will finally be the most dominant species on Skull island, Kong's mountain home is now dominated by the Terapusmordax bats, many of the islands creatures will never hear the sound of Kong's roar and as for the natives... Well they will longer serve their purpose of worshipping and sacrificing women to their stolen God.

I love the movie cause Kong is the best of them all and can out beat all the other (monsters in movies) in my book. But it's always a perfect beautiful woman they offer to him in the movies therefor the (producers/directors) are giving off vibes from the whole movie and story that if you're not a beautiful woman you don't stand a chance in life with not only a beast like Kong cause he'll kill you, eat you and spit you out "cause you didn't rock his world based on your outward appearance" but also that human males in general feel this way throughout the world as well. Sad but true :( Oh well ... God Forbid if she was ugly right? Geez!!!!!!! :( (being sarcastic of course) Feel sorry for the not so beautiful women of the world cause they never stand a chance at love with the way society thinks and especially the male species :'( So where does that leave the not so pretty women in the world? Alone and desolate just because she was born less attractive and less than desirable. So beyond sad how society thinks and is. People forget that LOOKS FADE and never last!!!! Your looks start going down around the 40's and it doesn't take that long to get there people. Life is fleeting! So that beautiful woman you married won't look perfect and beautiful forever men! Not happening. Better hope the REAL beauty is inside of her cause if it's not good luck with that. Question: you just gonna leave her when her beauty fades later in life when she starts to get older? Or better yet, one day while she's still young and beautiful but gets in an accident and becomes disfigured in the face then what? You'll still brag about her to your buddies and say look at the babe I have on my arm man! Yeah right! So superficial to say the least. We just live in a sick self absorbed society period what it boils down to. Anyway, the way I see this scene (my analysis/depiction) is: Without women in the world, men will remain beasts without a heart or soul. Women represent love and peace in the universe (if given a chance) cause that's where the REAL beauty is. Thank God for both women and men. The protectors and the peacemakers = perfect combination = LOVE. Food for thought: BEAUTY - Man looks on the outside, God looks on the inside. Amen to that! P.S. - Thanks Ted for your comment! The focus should be on the person's heart and if they're truly genuine. Even with makeup and working out some women just don't have it. As for being friendly and smiling I totally agree with that but still there are some that try to be this way in public but because of the way she looks under the makeup and hype never gets noticed even if she is smiling and/or very friendly. Guys just look for and want the pretty girl always and if he knows he can't get her then he keeps to himself in hopes that one day the "hot" girl will finally notice him never just the attractive girl. Sad but true.
