I think the idea for this gym bag is something that patinas and ages over a long life time. It definitely looks nice for sure, specifically the black version.

I love King Kong bags bought a backpack 2 a few years ago while impressed by the function and love the shoe pocket on outside the stitching was poor in places loads of loose threads which i used a lighter to remove, now upgraded to a Heritage in Cognac and wow impressed with the quality and the leather is so nice, I don't miss the full zip as rarely used it, sorry ordered from them direct as saw your review after I bought to be honest not sure if it would work for me in Great Britain

@@jrkinley i would say this is certainly a doable travel pack, but far from ideal. It’s quite heavy and bulky (bad for budget airlines) and has limited access to the main compartment (as opposed to a clamshell style opening). But at the end of the day it carries things so it can technically work as a travel pack… although I wouldn’t recommend it

However, I saw it the second I saw the back, yeah no. Hello back sweat. On leather. Particularly after “the gym”. Particularly given overall bag weight. Scant breathability. Nope nope nope. Aesthetics lead comfort here, I can tell.

I had to sit down after i heard that price. This bag saw the bellroy apex and goruck heritage and was like "pfft too cheap"
