Look at that! Epic! Noted them being released but this is a great example of them actually being used properly. i.e mud n water haha

Great video. Some people are complaining that the motor area gets completely wet and the motors start to rust very badly as they are not easily accessible once built ? Can you please shed a bit of light on this before I consider getting one ? I have been holding back because of this very problem. Many thanks.

Thanks, Indeed, it seems to be an issue regarding them. The gentleman that had it on the day said he needed to take it apart and seal the chassis tub. They sealed up the edges with silicone as there are no rubber seals included with the kit. He then swapped out the bearings for stainless steel variants and packed them as well as the surrounding parts in marine grease. He never had any water leaking in since. Another part I see an issue with is the configuration of the belt drive system. The issue being that the belt drives the rear axle, The front is directly connected to the gearbox unit however the rear only relies on the belt. The rear axle usually takes more load than the front therefore the belt can start skipping if it is not tight enough. I think it should have been done the other way around for the rear to have been connected to the gearbox and the front to be belt driven. Overall it is a very cool and unique trail vehicle, as long as you don't abuse it, it will last for hours of enjoyment. Hope that helps.

@@ThatTinyTruckGuy Hello, great thanks for the reply. I think I will hang on for a while and see how they stand up to extend use.

Hi guys! I have just had a new Lurker arrived that I've finished building. Really really happy with it. Only thing I need help with is what and how to waterproof the chassis. The sheet in the instructions says to do it but not how to. What do I need ti do to make the chassis waterproof so I can use it fully please? Thanks 🙂

Silicone will be your friend. I have seen a good portion of people use it around the edges of the chassis, and it does the job nicely for them. Hope that helps.
