This music as a soundtrack for the film is stunning. I really enjoyed the Depression-era set design also and the casting of Watts and Black was wonderful.... But the music just surges up inside me and blows me away..........so deep and expressive. and moving. Wow

James Newton Howard is a very good composer. There exist many examples (THE DARK KNIGHT, I AM LEGEND, SPACE JAM , SPACE JAM THE SIXTH SENSE, DINOSAUR, ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE, SIGNS, TREASURE PLANET, PETER PAN, HIDALGO, THE VILLAGE, COLLATERAL, BATMAN BEGINS, LADY IN THE WATER, THE HAPPENING) but few people realised of this fact until last years

James Newton Howard is sometimes forgotten by the huge succes of Hans Zimmer. Movies like King Kong, I Am Legend and The Last Airbender have great soundtracks
