True. However, when you see kong holding the girl in kong skull island and compare that to kong doing a "fist bump" with his index finger on the girl in kong vs godzilla, you can tell a difference.

it's because of the cinematography. It took the same approach with Godzilla KoM. But in Godzilla and Kong, they mostly put you in the perspective of the humans below, so it has that effect of looking bigger. i definitely prefer that approach, it's part of what makes them significantly better than GKoM and GvK

Great video, the original King Kong from 1933 was supposed to be 50 feet tall but in the actual movie depending on which scene it was the scale was anywhere from 18 feet tall to 50 feet tall.

Incorrect. I have Willis O'Briens book. They scaled Kong for 18 feet on Skull Island however when they got to the NYC shots they decided to scale him up to 24 feet. Right from the mouth of the master himself...

Radiation i guess. Kong probably went down to hollow earth where most of the skull crawlers were...or the humans pumped him up with Radiation to make him bigger. but you have to also remember, kongs parents were double the size of skull island kong...which still isn't the size of 2021 kong. My final guess is the directors screwed the size and weight for kong, they cant have a small kong going up against Godzilla.
