honestly back in around 2010 when i got back into the game i saw both the medusa worm and the other card that can flip back to face down defense position for the first time. i've always wanted to see a deck of those cards working together and actually winning games. with the edition of synchros and xyz's it was almost impossible. to see that its possible in this game makes me so happy and its very nostalgic. thank you for this video shady :), been supporting you in the shadows since your i think 20th wifi battle when you first started your channel in pokemon

You dont need electro if tou dedicate to flips. But three floodgates help him more but a feint plans effect becomes a rule. Best flip card protection.

My f2p kog deck is Silent magician, with horus and mirage dragon. 3500 atk that i can pull out turn one is super good. Bigger than red eyes beat down. Only weaknesses is toons, floodgate, curse of anubis, and monster affects which is actually rare in this meta.

Floodgate is not an answer to Cyber Angels... they still get the Dakini effect and they still have a big monster on the field to tribute.

The strategy that won me games was the Floodgate their first Dakini, which stopped them from getting more ritual spells/monsters, then pop it with worm. Worked for me through Legend to KoG, so I'm sorry if it isn't optimal!

Hey shady you probably won't see this but it would be a huge help for a lot of people if you could put like an actual decklist for the viewers in the description! I've been playing duel links for about a year now, lil more, and I still can't even tell what every card on your screen is just off of the pictures. I mean I got the majority of them so I can make it work and there sometimes that one clutch person who comments the list, but just food for thought, it'd be appreciated a lot. Huge fan, love your videos, you've helped me go from silver to plat and understand meta and be able to get an idea for what face downs are based on the meta and the deck played. Your videos are super informative, well put together, keep them up please!

The last duel against Kaiba, that was a misplay from him, you could either use first Statue effect or, as you did, use Sargent, but Kaiba should econ your sargent electro and hope you have a monster with less than 1600 atk in hand. Then he at least would have one more turn, but maybe, he just couldn't win anyway.

rodrigueskorn He did not misplay. If he took the electro then Shady could have sent it back to his hand with the statue and summoned it again. That would have been 2400 life and game. He made the only play that gave him a chance to extend the game.

"Floodgate is an incredibly under-rated card" That's a funny joke, it plus Wall of D are the only 2 traps I see most people running anymore. Also the whole stream from gunzblazing a while back, where the #floodgateoverhyped was seen, but everyone ran it. Hell even in the last two tournaments floodgate was an essential part of their decks. Shady your probably just out of the loop. I didn't mean for this to be ranty, but I get so salty everytime I see a person use floodgate or Wall of D, cause I for one, don't have them, so I need to try to counter them.

I mean you say that as if it's easy, I have been, I'm like 50 packs left in the one box and 20 in the other, they still haven't come up. You can't just "Grind" them cause you need the gems to get them, and when you've leveled up almost all of the characters it's a bit hard to get any new sources of gem income, besides just dueling and hoping to get like 1-5 in a box, which is not worth.
