There’s nothing like a slice or 2 of pizza from “King of Pizza”. I have been going there since I was a kid and I am 58 years old now. On Saturday’s after shopping as a kid it was a treat to get a slice of pizza and a soda. During high school day’s at Little Flower we used to stop there after school to get a slice and a soda. I moved out the neighborhood but I still go back to get a pie or 2. The three guys that work there haven’t aged a bit, they still look the same since the 70’s. My co worker bought me a beef sausage slice last week😋 I took my children there and now I have the pleasure of taking my grandchildren. The best Pizza ever!!!!!!!

King of Pizza 🍕 is an all time classic. I've been going to king of Pizza for 30 years and my mother's first slice was when she was in highschool. I have always said that you can tell a place has good pizza when all they do is specialize in one item lol. Thanks for putting King of Pizza in the spotlight. They truly deserve it.

Love that place. Been going there for over 35 years. The only place my family goes for pizza. At least once or twice a month I just have to have a couple of slices of cheese pizza. The employees and owners are so friendly.

They are iconic. I have good childhood memories of that spot. My mom was a nurse at Temple. She took me there a lot when I was a kid. There used to be an old school shoe store on the same side of that block. My mom would take me shoe shopping for Easter at that spot. If I behaved she treated me to pizza and or candy from a chocolatier shop up the street across from Temple ER. Their is so much history on that block.

My first time going to King of Pizza was in 1978 when we first moved to that area. Even though I no longer live around there I will still come down there for that special pizza. The two brothers that own it never forget a customer. They remember my whole family. Every time we go we reminisce about the old days. Very special place that holds so many memories. Thanks for reviewing them. But for those of us that have been coming here have always known they are the best ❤

Been going to King of Pizza for at least 40 years every time I come to town first place I go. When I was a kid we would tell our parents that our sneakers cost five extra dollars so you could get a slice out of your sneaker money. That place is the best.

I was about 11 years old when I started going there.I am 61 now I use to shop a lot on the G-Ave with my family and friends and our last stop would be Kings Pizza, and Yes they are the Kings Of Pizza. Excellent taste totally different from other pizza places,Great texture crust, No grease dripping to make the bread soggy. I always got 2 slices with extra cheese and a large coke soda. I miss them guys since I have moved, But once this pandemic is ova I am heading back there. There personality is real sweet. I always remember them as I use to come in with a crowd of people smiling though there large window tossing the pizza dough in the air and greeting everyone coming though there door.
