Im GS user in mutated i recommended not to use crosscut because the animation lock and now the damage itself not that high anymore. My skill setup is Rupture, Rentless and Counter Skill. Just be careful when using crosscut the grit maybe can help and also can make you go cry

Just fyi your explanation of the gems was incorrect. Yes the opals give you about half the protection against whatever the mutation is, however it is not lost that protection is against ALL elemental types. The actual difference is about 1-2% less than full nature gems. This means you are trading 2% for 15% against all other types. In something like ennead where the final boss and a lot of mobs do fire damage regardless of mutation it is extremely valuable. You are entitled to whatever opinion, just please try to present the correct information. You have a valid opinion, but when you present an argument that is based on false info your argument which is valid, just not the way you presented it, looses value. I enjoy your vids. P.s. I agree with the other comments, crosscut is not very valuable especially in high level muts, but to each their own. Love the channel

To clarify the difference between a full nature (or any single ele gem) and opals with a protection amulet and single ele gem in amulet is 1-2% less against the single element but +15% against all other elements. Just clarifying what I was referring to. Thank you again

You'd be better off having throwing hatchet tree instead of Berserk and raging torrent. Having another melee build on top of Greatsword is extremely redundant. GS/Bow is very good but I do throwing hatchet and out dps mostly everyone currently.

Dude everyone follows the meta and because FS took a nerf everyone else automatically cut out IG/VG but they are still my main and I have tested throughly and it's so close to melee dps IF you play a battlemage type of build .

I don't find hatchet boring, I always try to find new ways to stay at a boss at anytime for more dps or to interrupt smaller bosses somehow with greataxe [utility]

Hatchet against ancient? Ok i've seen everything now. Hatchet has slash damage, so it makes 85% dmg output compared to Warhammer (strike) for an example 120%

Aaand you're way out of the loop. Weapons don't deal less damage to enemies anymore, they have no additional resistances. This had been removed with Brimstone update. So hatchet damage is 100% damage flat. It's still less than a Warhammer, but it's not less than 100%. Using hatchet rend will basically allow you to get that extra damage back, aswell as buffing everyone else's damage too.
