Im french and I was at Backlash, Ive seen multiple wwe shows in France, and I can tell you this wasnt a "regular french crowd". They were way louder and added more chants than at wwe paris in 2023. Personally I do prefer a build up to crowd chants than 24/7 chants. Don't worry if France gets more shows it won't have that amount of heat 😅

That'd work if there was only one tournament. But as Santi pointed out, six matches plus Becky/Liv, plus potentially another title match is a lot of matches that likely aren't going to get very much time. I do think this is the smarter way to go about it to ensure that the talent that is going to be on the card gets a decent amount of time to shine.

I agree that spreading out the King of the Ring lets you have higher quality matches, and I get that argument. But I have to take Sancho's side. King of the Ring was always a test of endurance. That's what made you special if you won. It set the show apart from everything else. Regardless of anything else, you're losing something by splitting it up. I get that dudes can't keep the energy up all night, but that's what made KotR feel superhuman. If they made it a standard that the winner automatically gets a title shot at Summerslam, or something like that, that would help. Just like the Royal Rumble gets you a shot at wrestlemania.
