Many fond memories of Stourport from the 60's onwards, we had a family caravan there, Carnival week was the best, even if forced to do the road and river parade, and I loved when they built a paddling pool by the bridge. big part of my childhood. Thank you for sharing.

@@ChrisWitts Yes, also from the Black Country, weekend and holidays was the escape from the factories for a couple of days, pubs and working mens clubs were always full, kids outside with a bag of crisps and a bottle of Vimto , happy times .

@@msoddsoxsox974 My earlier memories of Stourport on a busy weekend was the smell of hot dogs, etc down through the road leading to the Severn.
