Meh. Quite often, an insult has more to do with how a person chooses to take a comment like that rather than saying something about the fella that delivered it. I imagine that was intended as a friendly ribbing rather than a sharp jab. But then, I failed sensitivity training, so what do I know?
@nealkeeble3 жыл бұрын

I don't know about that, I'd rather have a p pumped 24 valve 5.9 with an eaton or spicer manual behind it. There's a lot less to go wrong than a HEUI engine with an auto. It's a lot easier to turn up a 5.9 cummins if you want more power too. The cats are good engines, but the allisons are pretty overrated due to being about the only decent part in the GM duramax trucks.

I worked for a guy as a mechanic/ welder and fabricator for anything you could think of on a farm or his seed cleaning plant. One day he decides I'm busy and welds a grain truck tailgate that was busted in one corner. This is a grey color truck box, and he paints his weld yellow with a spray can ! I just took one look at it thought what a mess and said he didn't need to highlight his crappy underpowered gasless mig weld with yellow paint, people would still see it without.
