Thanks for making this book review!! But I'd have to say that I disagree with you on so many levels. I really love the Red Queen series and the first few 100 pages of King's Cage were my favorite part! I was actually begging for Mare not to get rescued for a while lol There is just so much character development that you go through with Mare in this book and you see her go from 'I'm a savior that needs to stay alive because no one can do anything without me' to 'hey! I need to get my head out of my ass and realize that I have lots of people that care about me.' I just think going through this with Mare is absolutely crucial. And I wish you spoke a little more about the story in this review rather then just talking about how it was written. But I respect your opinion and I realize that not everyone will like this series. I'm glad you at least gave King's Cage a chance! Again, thank you for making this video :)

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate hearing your side of things! I'm glad you like th I series- even if I'm not into a book the fact that we are reading during a time when that's not a very popular thing to do is great and I am so happy you are a reader!

I really liked Red Queen and am going to finish the series - if they don't stretch it to 5 books but I think you are right because really there was not much happening and you could probably have skipped King's Cage and then go directly to the next book without being lost. I've not read much YA fantasy or dystopia except for the hunger games - which are so similar to Red Queen it almost feels kind of a rip off. PS: you have the most beautiful cat

I completely agree with you! The first part of the book is so dragging, I tried to peek in the last part of the book for me to be encouraged to keep on reading haha. I don't know, I didn't enjoyed this book as much as book 1. :(

I couldn't even finish Red Queen. I felt like I was reading a fantasy version of Katniss. Couldn't stop rolling my eyes.
