No. Doug was actually Daniel's older(?) brother and Tim's son. I think the term "late" might have confused you into thinking he was much older than he was. He was only in his mid 30's when he was killed in a car crash in 2006. Definitely an awesome drummer and I can't wait to see him drumming in Heaven someday.
