​@@J-DD we can touch the horse, but the reins..the guards themselves & trying to feed the horse is what's prohibited, but aslong as you be respectful & not try to feed the horse then its usually fine & im guessing with this one, so dont quote me on this but maybe the guards are a bit weary about us petting their horse not just for the 'respect the royal guards' part of it but maybe its for our own safety too, take this video for example..if that horse got spooked for 1 reason or another then a horse can do a lot of damage or kill any human really fcuking quick! they'll raise their front legs & stomp you on there way back down etc etc, you know what damage they can do if they really wanted to...but I do think its for our protection (public people) aswell as respecting the fact that the guard is on active duty, might not look like it but they are. Some of the videos here on KZbin showing guards getting pissed off are ruthless

Dumb parents though a horse is dangerous on both end and not too safe in the middle. All it would have taken was a rough pet or jerky movement to get stomped out or fingers bitten off horses are not dogs and should be respected as such. Edit: not to mention yapping dogs put horses in defensive stomp out mode not a safe moment at all.

Absolutely beautiful and what made it superbly heartwarming was how the guard rewarded the horse for his compassion. The guard held his nerve obviously, exceptionally well but he was also completely on it, you could see the attention he was paying in reading every breath and movement the beautiful guard horse made, also being ready to react to the child’s movements, and all whilst holding his composure and most importantly, not transferring his worst fears to the horse he is sat upon and at one with…beautiful work👌 Great moment appreciating the kings guard, thank you for sharing ♥️

Aww, I had a similar experience while rolling past a pasture with 6 draft horses in it~ I use a wheelchair and was feeling kind of sad that day. The horses ran across the pasture to me and lowered their heads so I could hug them. They are so sweet and they really cheered me up. That was a very sweet moment for the horse and little girl, and the guard was very kind!🙂

@@ql2ku that is exactly what he did so much kindness and a very special moment. I honestly wish more of them were like that because they could be creepy at times. I understand you have to respect their space but just because somebody is a paraplegic should not mean others should be treated differently JS, every other video people get yelled at and everything else so when other people see this what’s fair is fair , what goes for one should go for all…. but yes, what he did was very nice….

Responding again to say: I just watched one of the horses bite a little boy's ear super hard. 😩 So it's not always that they show this kindness to the little ones. Maybe only certain horses behave that way, or... we all have good and bad days... lash out at the wrong person, I guess. 😅😭
