Wow! thanks you John. I had the pleasure of being there for this, purely by accident, about 26 years ago. But only outside the palace, 1997, just before Diana was killed. Was listening to all the inane chatter from Americans telling their friends all the wrong things They were waiting for Diana to appear on the balcony. Yeah. Nah

You picked the best spot to film. Will you be going to another trooping the colour? It was excellent and I've been watching most of my life. But to your viewers from aboard it must have been an eye opener to tradition, discipline, the pomp and circumstance and a great show. Once again you done it showing off the Guard Regiments and Household Cavalry off to your viewers. Excellent 👌.

John, I have to say, you are the best, yes it was shorter but much better, it was clear and perfectly done These ceremony,s that we do, it does and should make you proud to be British, I have always loved trooping the colour( I won't say how many years) and have watched quite a few, I know that each year is a different regiment but it has dawned on me that only the 1 regiment wears the colour 🤪 and there flag, I have a quick question: When you were invited to the barricks we saw I portion of the stables, and this will sound silly, do all 200 + horses reside at the barricks or are they station other place's, and what is the purpose of the chain a round their necks, one other question please The major horse is a stunning beautiful bay, I would love to know it's name? Thank you for you videos, your words, humour and laugh, it bring a smile to a lot of people Kaz

As an ex serviceman I never miss watching trooping the colours. It makes me so proud to have served in army. And as a proud Welshman I loved it when the mass band played Men of Harlech, as it was our regimental march. So I’ll be glued to the telly on Saturday the 15th of this month

Amazing. The precision was astounding. Thank you so much for the video. Row after row of immaculate guardsmen - and then came the real bullies in the playground : The Royal Horse Artillery who assume seniority when they’re on parade with their colours - cos their colours go bang. Everything came together with perfect timing - we certainly have a military to make us proud in keeping our unique traditions alive. The first full trooping of the colour took place in the reign of Charles II when it was a matter of life and death that each soldier recognised the rallying point of their regimental colours in the chaos of the battle field. The significance may have waned but it’s good that the tradition hasn’t. You said you didn’t think this was your finest work but you did an amazing job. Thank you again.

Perfect position to see the Guards reposition themselves after marching pass your seat to go pass the Major General at a slow march to salute. The precision, the straigh lines thats the first time I've seen that close up. Excellent thank you. 😊 Then to do it again at quick march phew!!!! I alway enjoyed eatching the band doing the manoeuvre called the wheel where they turn themselves 360 degrees sround fabulous. Finally the Kings Troop and Household Cavalry. Looking magnificent. Great filming John, much enjoyed thank you.
