If I’m not incorrect, the new protagonist might be Jacks (last teased Hounds member). Also hoping Dominix and Idrian gets a release 😄 Now, regarding the update. I don’t usually write comments like this but I have to admit this update was one of the better ones we’ve had in years. No dropping a huge powercreep system like we had with Soul Weapon/Technomagic Gear upon release. Lots of events. Perhaps the lack of huge powercreep system is the main reason why many of us can focus on the depth of the main story. I’m honestly so glad the new raid and enchant system wasn’t as bad as I expected. There was many things in the past that was poorly implemented, but I do think things are getting better (optimisation is improving, balancing is slow but steady). I admit hero balance priorities are still sometimes wrong/questionable but there does seem to be a movement towards a positive direction. Keep it up.

What about balancing for outdated/powercreeped heroes? Well, Season 2 sounds much more interesting since it’s about the Empire. Looking forward to meeting Jacks, Idrian, Emperor and Empress and other characters. Hope you didn’t forget other names you’ve teased like Lonian, Zaunlang as well.

Agree. Lucikiel carried the whole chapter by himself. Loved his slapping everyone scenes. Sadly Clause vs Kasel was too anticlimactic and the “death” impact fell off when we discovered ______ was not truly dead. Kind of disappointed some characters didn’t appear at all (Theo group, Empire??).

I was really surprised that they went all in with their budget on creating in-game engine cutscenes instead of the cinematic ones in Chapter X Rebellion. But wow did they do a good job with the lighting and particle effects that it made it look almost like a long interactive cutscene for the last few parts of X the Final. I really enjoyed the direction they chose to go with this chapter and hope that Season 2 will bring the same quality cutscenes where the particles and lighting were top notch. Great job Vespa and Kings Raid!!

I love this game (been playing for years) and the updates so far haven't disappointed me. I'm putting faith in you guys again, just one thing: stop with the swimsuits. Cooler costumes would be awesome, like the league costumes but not limited to there. When it comes to the story, it was awesome. But what's gonna happen with the goddesses? I think that maybe that will be continued whenever they pick up the main 3 again, but that part is so interesting bc there's the third being that was talked about that would be interesting to expand. I have big hopes for season 2's story. Especially with the 5 demons and shi.

Yes, this is what I expecting in season 2 especially on what goal does the Pandora want using their experiments. Ever since the evil knights project mentioned in season 1, it feels that the information about it is not yet answered. Additionally, on what will crow do on the project akistra. Can't wait to uncover these information in season 2. Looking forward to it!

i really wanted a final showdown with the gods in season 2 but they said there is no sequel to the storyline and there is no conclusion for the 5 primal demons and the 3 gods playing with the lives of humanity behind the scenes.

They blocked people just because their own system issues.

as stated in the video, season 2 is not a sequel game to the first season, its a super big overhaul/update to the current game. they have also said before the game will still use the same base app as before so its not like we are moving to a completely separate game with our progress left behind.

At this point, making a new KR2 would've been a better approach. Game has developed massive content grind issues, balancing to the point it will take too much investment to fixing all of it. where you fix one spot, it opens up another issue. Should've started fresh and make KR2 new game, and give some sort of free care packages for people who played the previous version of the game.

@@SeraphimSystem Making a new game from scratch or updating the current systems to be more streamlined would take the same time investment. lol Also have you played since launch? Newbies now can progress much faster with much less stam investment than 3 years ago. Also there was no dispatch feature back in the day. If you wanted to grind back in the day you had to make a macro and leave your game on all day. The current systems you're actually not spending that much time in-game compared to the past.

@@jenniferhamels1176 it took 3 years to make it happen. grind was stale. i got back to check out how much difficulty tweak they did and see chapter 10 story. it is... acceptable changes to difficulty but i feel like its time to move on. carry the lessons learned and make a better KR2. it's pretty old game by now.

Story development is too slow. if only king's raid focus on the story more since early game life. Hope it will be more fleshed out, polished, and expanded for the character development, story plot, world immersion

Yeah I agree they should have focused on the story more in the early part of the game. The writing was definitely weaker in the early chapters but the latest two chapters were pretty good. Since KR2 is focused on the Empire I think it should be much better (since the Empire characters are very interesting).

I will agree with An. The game is super unstable and crashed frequently. My device is top of the line made earlier this year, and the game still crashes. The team has said nothing thus far about it except making it seem as though it is the player`s fault. I am glad that they said here that there will be stability fixes.

@@akisekurahara6678 I doubt the game has been any improvement, I've played since late 2017, at the time my potato phone with Snapdragon 435, 3gb RAM can play the game smoothly and now my phone with sd835, 4gb RAM can barely run at 60fps, I have to switch to emulator on pc to do important content like eclipse or gconquest, and every time they update the game, they always screw the thing up, but this time is the worst, there's like hundred of people experienced lags and session expired, this is a public, online game server not 2b2t ya know, beside that we lost our item, especially the soul ticket since it tooks at least 3 weeks to get 1, we could save those 3 weeks with the ticket the promised to give us all and now because of their own failure people losing it and they remain silent for a day
