KING shocks for the Ineos Grenadier WHY?

Issues you are facing may not be 100% shock, may be spring rating related too. Harry from Harry's Farm had a video where he reviewed the Ineos Quartermaster. In that video, he said that the technical engineer mentioned about having 3 different springs for front and 6 different springs for back, which is put on based on add-ons and weight people order. Worth checking with Ineos and getting your spring uprated. Thanks for the content.

@@seth_kris thanks for the comment. This is great information. I was unaware of Ineos having different spring rates. I will be installing the shocks today and will have another video out in a day or so.

I have the same issue with my overland prepped Gren. Side to side sway is not terrible but defineatly needs improvement. I called Eibach and they said the shocks will help but the spring rate needs to be increased. They don't have a alternate/heavier spring yet but are hoping in the near future will have a new spring for us who are running our trucks heavy.

👍. I’ve sold two 200 series land cruisers, 2013 and 2021, both well modified winches aux fuel tanks, BP 51 suspension……..since getting my Grenadier and putting a deposit on a Quartermaster.

@@SaltShack thanks for the comment! Heck yeah! I'm debating a quartermaster myself. I have a new superduty and the tow capacity just isn't quite enough for me currently on the quarter. Ask me again in a year when I move and am not towing all this stuff around. Haha

Get some rock covers for those piston shafts , ive had 3 sets of kings start to leak under 15k kilometers from the piston seal due to the piston shaft was hit/scuffed by rock and debris which then the shock movement started to rub and destroy the seal. Best regards from Mongolia.

@@GregoryStoner thanks for the comment. Agreed. I have a really good feeling about them. Judging by the past builds with these same shocks I'm pretty sure it's going to be great!

Are you exceeding static and dynamic loads on your roof rack? Bear in mind you must also take into consideration the weight of the rack. Judging by what you mentioned you have on the roof (fuel, water, recovery gear, tent etc), I’d suggest you’re way overloaded on top, and may find that no matter what you do to the suspension set up, you’re not going to beat the laws of physics. I’ve had my Grenadier for over a year (12,000 miles now). Eazi-Awn rack and roof bags takes my lighter gear, but I prefer to keep the heavier kit in the back, spread as evenly and as low as I can. Granted, a roof shower is needed on top to work. Would be interested to know what the weight of all your rack kit adds up to, including the rack. Nice shocks though!
