KING SHOCKS for the Sprinter Van 3500

Brett at Vangard Overland gives a quick run down of the Brand New 3500 Rear 3.0 Shocks from KING. Another advantage of a 3500 Sprinter is the space to put on bigger shocks in the rear. With an already boxed dual sheer upper shock mount, we fit in massive 3.0's with remote resi's. There is no other setup like it, and it provided the most control, support, and ride comfort than any other Sprinter shock on the market.

Soooo dope!! Would be amazing if we could get 3.0's for the 2500 as well (in the works perhaps? 🤔) ps. does the fact that the shocks are inboard of the chassis reduce their effective damping ability, vs let's say a 2.5" or 2.0" shock that is mounted more outwards on the axle, closer to the wheel?

Hi. We tried, but couldn't fit them. You're correct. The 3500 rear shocks are inboard and we have more room for the shock it self, but to go big on the resi, we had to make them remote instead of piggyback.

Will these bad boys work with my Chassis cab 3500xd awd?

yes they absolutely will. Any 3500XD or 4500 will fit these upgraded King Shocks

@@morevanever1311 The more it will work from dually to single wheel, right? Will it work instead of installing it under on a dually, will there be enough room under the wheel well on a single wheel or a bracket for it?

@@acd3169 The wheel well is just thin sheet metal, and the bolts will go into the interior if you were to make a bracket for the shocks. That wouldn't be ideal anyways, because the hose would be so long running from the shock all the way up to the wheel well. It may be easier to adjust the compression, but it makes the design of the shock more complicated.
