I'm a big Aventus fan, I have a 2016 batch and a 2018 batch. I just received a bottle of PV Vanilla Intense. To my surprise, it's really good, not as complex as the Creed star, but really good. Perfect for everyday wear.

I have a couple bottles of Aventus, but was interested in this as a replacement for me laying around the house or running errands scent. I also wanted something to throw on in the winter. I tried out Pineapple vintage intense and their company sold me on the ability to make something that smells great. I appreciate all the reviews of these and don't quite understand why people click on reviews of frags they have no interest in or just want to complain in the comments about you doing the review.

Hello, I have a 2017 bottle of pineapple vintage intense. I want to order another one but I'm hearing that the scent doesn't last long anymore. The bottle I got would last 13 hours or so and I could still smell it on my clothes the next day. I was wondering how the performance is on the bottle you just got?

iI see that it's only the same as Creed producing 10 different batches. Seems Parfums Vintage are clearly doing different versions instead of getting a nasty surprise with Aventus where you can literally get a different scent to the bottle that we bought a year before. The quality for me because of this is better than Aventus

Chris! Thanks for the vid! My personal take is - I have 2 full bottles of Aventus - a fruity batch & a smokier batch. I never saw a need to get caught up with the “aventus clone bandwagon”, since I always see them as a Day & Nighttime version. However, I do have Vanilla Intense from Parfums Vintage because it offers something no other clones have, which is the vanilla drydown which I adore for Fall/Winters. And no you are not crazy...the dry down does remind of Oud Wood, but on my skin just a dash sweeter!

I own all of the pineapple vintage frags minus King and pineapple vintage. Love them all, and find value in all of the different variants. I found King intense lasts longer on me and changes to Woody, earthy, a touch smoky. Like a pinch of noir anthracite was added for good measure. The vanilla of vanilla intense really jumped out on my skin, but is softer and quieter than King intense. Just goes to show you different skin elicits different takes on things. Excellent review

The comparative review could include the performance parameters of "Silage", "Projection" and "Longevity" in more specific terms rather than the commonly used terms of "..it stays on my skin for ages..".

The only "problem" with all the Aventus clones, is the drydown. None of them has that magic drydown of Aventus. The vanilla one sounds interesting. Great video once again.

Well...I was trying to find a Good clone of Aventus. But there are so many. I review Parlour Parfums, but there are many Batches. This parfums vintage are so expansive, for being a Clon. But Surprise...I found the best price for Aventus...At the incredible Price of 295 Dlls. This price is the nicest I have found. So...save money and go for it.

I wore club de nuit intense for the past year and I got a sample set of PV. King to me is very good - I get a lot of peppers and citruses. I can't tell the difference with this and the real Aventus so I'm happy that this company is giving us great options. Club De Nuit Intense I simply can't wear anymore because it smells cheap next to the Pineapple Vintage.

Absolutely. CDNIM is a mess in the opening. I recently smelled it and was suprised because so many people describe it as the best clone. It settles down to something closer to Aventus as it drys down but that opening is just way off in my opinion.

I agree CDNIM is basically floor cleaner for about 1 hour and then it kinda smells 50% like Aventus. I still believe Parfums Vintage is still off the mark with King and King Intense, and the fact they have 8 different Aventus clones proves they aren't all that confident either. But they are getting closer with each iteration. Creed will probably throw everyone off with a new amazing batch lol.

Vanilla intense to me is weaker than pineapple intense. The opening is less sharp and the projection is muted.

Totally agree. It's a vanilla that isn't spicy and interesting like Spicebomb Extreme. It's more of a cream, and that cream dulls down the formula. I've noticed that this one also makes me much more noseblind to it, even when others still smell it strongly (or maybe I over-applied because the opening is so muted).

I watched Big Beard Business review and he actually said that he wanted to dislike it but it was DOPE! The company are SMASHING it and really put it out there. Far from being boring and repetitive - I find that the Pineapple range caters to the Aventus fans who are having to research batches and they also release non Pineapple fragrances like their Bois De Mystery which is the same as Straight to Heaven which is my favourite all time fragrance

Make a clone of the original ch men a beautiful smell but didn't last or dolce Gabbana the parfum and make it last longer but enough with aventus clone we have so many and club de nuit and vanilla get me more that aventus if self complement

Remember these juices are near freshly made, so when you get it, you should let it sit for a month. I like King Intense more than King because i like birch and the Intense seems to last a bit longer for me. Vanilla Intense is good too and isnt that sweet compared to other sweet scents with vanilla which is a good thing for me as i dont like creamy sweet scents. Those are for ladies in my opinion. I have tried most of their fragrances but havent tried the Noir, Noir Intense, or Beyond yet. This is a good house. Not really a clone house, they take scents and tweak them by taking out notes people dont like and ramping up the notes people do like. Also has more oils and less alcohol 👍

Comparing Pineapple Vintage vs Vanilla Intense I prefer the PV. PV carries confidently the "classic" Aventus notes you find in Club de Nuit and Explorer... while wrapping them in awesomely pleasant pineapple for the entire projection. I find that to be a perfect blend. The Vanilla Intense however, was dull to me in "creaming" down the formula. The fruit plus cream came off very much like wearing a hit of Orange Creamsicle , which is not the most prestigious form of vanilla. It wasn't even the spicy interesting vanilla you find in Spicebomb Extreme. Just a more semi-boring cream that takes the lead.

For me I hope they carry on making the clones, I want them to nail it and replicate the old batches of Aventus. They're already close, so I think they will be able to get even closer. The new batches of Aventus from the last 2 years were so disappointing. I've bought many bottles of Aventus over the years, but I can't see myself buying it again as it isn't half as good as the stuff from 5 years ago. I would rather buy 3 bottles of Pineapple Vintage, to my nose some of them might even smell better than the newer batches of Aventus.

I really couldn't care about Creed when they charge $400 for a bottle which is going to be completely different to my previous bottle. PV Intense is my favourite fragrance from the line and it always gets compliments. With Aventus I can smell the differences on my skin and one bottle in 2013 smelled like burnt wood. My 2016 was bright Pineapple and although I liked it I just found that I was being cautious about wearing it due to the price - so what's the point in owning it. Just bought 3 PV Intense 100ml which was less one 100ml Aventus which is now $400. PASS

So if we trow all the other shitty useless clones in the garbage where they belonge we are left with parfumes vintage. Leaving aside the fact that I bought 3 samples of Parfums Vintage (PVI / King Intense / Vanilla Intense) and are waiting to have them..Chris, seriously, have you ever tried Afnan Supremacy Silver? Among all the proposed clones is the only one that is REALLY close to Aventus. The only one! Yes they're not cheap but they always seem good quality. I think what PV are trying to do is appeal to people to buy their fragrances based on the twist/angle that you wouldn't find in the current formulation of the original.

Everyone who likes the smell of Aventus--but refuses to spend hundreds--has a clone. I've settled with CDNIM despite the criticism that the opening is "cheap" and "chemical" smelling. I like the harshness of CDNIM opening and how it dries down to smooth/fruity smokiness.

To be honest, a little while ago, i wanted Creed Aventus so badly, but after ive read that its pure luck what kind of scent you get from the bottle, i quickly lost interest. Sorry, but if they want to charge me over 300 $ for a fragrance, i dont want to hope, that its the same amazing smell from my Previous bottle. Absolutely laughable. Of course besides the fact, that everyone knows Aventus by now and isnt that special anymore. But thats just my opinion. :)

I own aventus and king intense. Perfume vintage performance sucks, it lasts for less than an hour max, and it doesn’t touch the king. I am surprised how most reviewers are praising this, it was the worst blind buy ever based on youtube reviews.

It is frustrating because I have had many issues with refunds, deliveries, etc. and she has not been very accommodating and telling me that I was wrong. It's been 2 months and I'm still waiting for my refund... In terms of Vanilla Intense, the performance really sucks. Doesn't even last 2 hours which aligns with the mixed reviews on Fragranitca. I really don't know if I have a defective batch or if the reviewers on KZbin are getting paid to lie lol
