Unlike 2pac, *Biggie's death was easily preventable*. Going back to Cali (no pun intended), rapping Long Kiss Goodnight on a L.A radio station were all horrible decisions. What the hell were they thinking? I blame Puffy for this. He should, to a certain extent, be held accountable for Biggie's murder. 2pac was a semi religious figure in California and the rest of the world really. It was clear someone somehow was going to try to hurt Big and/or Puffy. They should've stayed away from California for at least 3-5 years until the deleterious atmosphere cooled down.

The lyrics were written while PAC is alive , Biggie made the melody and deleted some strong direct diss after his old friend died ! I will tell it out loud even people don’t want to hear it , PAC was one of the reasons that Biggie died for nothing ❤

What y’all don’t know is that this beat is the same beat from CNN’s (nore and Capone) LA LA. That was their response to Snoop and the DpG doing New York New York . CNN wanted big to get on LaLa, he didn’t but he used the same beat to go at Pac.

"The Ugliest" ft. Biggie and Busta Rhymes. It was going to be on Busta's debut album, but Biggie threw some subliminal shots at Pac and Busta didn't want to be put in the middle of their beef. Big's verse got recycled later on for "Dangerous MCs" on his posthumous album "Born Again".

The most disrespectful thing Diddy ever did was deny this was about Tupac. Cease admitted it, and said it was toned down from the og version. A few of LAD tracks were about Tupac; Last Day, Playa Hata, this.

You said Puffy gotta to be talking about deathrow you are correct. Puffy was talking shit to Suge Knight in the background of the hook. You're smart putting this together the interview and what happened but Puff didn't know Big was gonna do that verse on the radio show that was biggie's idea because he underestimated the severity of the situation. He was just spitting and not thinking smh
@Two-ToneMoonStone9 ай бұрын
I don't think he underestimated it, I think he must've had some assurance that he was going to make back to NY okay and Puff let what happened to B.I.G. happen.
