I saw a video somewhere, where David Gilmour was asked, "What is your favorite song to play? The most fun for you?" Most of you would shout "Comfortably Numb" like I did when I was watching it. He said, " I don't have one favorite song to play. I have two! Wish Your Were Here and Coming Back to Life. I like both equally. They're my babies."

Best Floyd reactions on KZbin! You really show that you get Pink Floyd and you appreciate the depth in their music. Do 'Echoes' next. That stands alone as a single long track (the other side of the album, Meddle, is good but has a different feel). Echoes was their change over period from their older style, leading on to The Dark Side etc. The album Atom Heart Mother was 'experimental' and unique, but many (myself included) think of it as an undervalued gem. I think most people either love it or hate it.

Personally Ahmad....I don't mind pausing during the songs (except during a David solo). Skipping may not be appeasing for the copyright bozo's. I suggest pausing the songs to comment on lyrics, instruments or whatever. Make it a 3 - 5 minute comment, then continue. I think my fellow PF fans would agree on pausing instead of skips. Try that and see if it works. David leaned a lot on Richard Wright. You'll see what I mean.

I was 26 years young back in 1994 when this album was released. That same year i was driving International as a truckdriver, mostly on Italy and France and i lived in Ypres (Belgium) where everything was flat and boring to drive. So driving to Italy and crossing the Alpes always gave me a feeling howmuch i loved my job. One day i stopped at a Truckstop for a break and the Service station sold this album. I've always enjoyed the music of Pink Floyd but had no idea of heared of this album b4 so just out of curiosity i bought it, went back to my truck with some snacks and this album. I left the parking, put the cd in and hitted play. I was on my way home decending the Alpes back in to France with this music playing in the background and listening it for the first time. I was just in awe and speechless, I'll never forgot this journey back home and the beauty of the Alpes on a clear sunny day in springtime while listening to The Devision Bell. I really loved your reaction m8, your sir have a new subcriber ;)

Just finished benchwathing all your Pink Floyd-reactions... Probably the best PF reactions I ever seen dude! Your reactions are so genuine and you really really feel it. Just closing your eyes and enjoying it. Never overanalyzing it, you just feel it! Your reaction after Dark side of the Moon was finished is definietly the best Reaction to anything music-related I've ever seen. Reminded me so much of myself the first time I heard it. The way you were completely drained of emotions... Just empty. No words needed or even trying to explain anything after hearing that album. I felt exactly the same way. Like it was a feeling of knowing that this was a life-changing moment. I was 12 years the first time I heard it and that album has defined my life in many ways ever since. I hold DSOTM and Widsh you were here as their two best albums, but as you say in this video about Division Bell: "they changed up their style a bit"... Perfectly put. The genius behind Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, left the band in 1984 and then they did both Momentary Lapse of Reason and the much better Division Bell-album, and it's simply the most "Pink Floyd-sounding" Pink Floyd-album and a real personal favorite of mine. I'm so glad you listened to this one as well! Subscribed and will keep checking in on you dude! Keep listening to Pink Floyd and as you get older and understand more about more about music in general you will have even deeper experiences with Pink Floyd, understanding more about both the perfection of the music and the genius of the lyrics.

Maaannn....that shit CHANGED.MY.LIFE. i cut school every day learning these songs, driving around my city, learning how to play like Gilmour. Marooned and High Hopes and my favorite songs EVER bro. I cant believe I'm watchin a 19 year old kid doing a reaction to this whole fukn album bro. Im so glad u appreciate...these guys are so deep. There will never be another Pink Floyd. The other thing is too man, this album is packed full of hidden messages...there are so many layers to this album, this music, the lyrics, the album art....when this shit came out there were people traveling the world, following clues, trying to understand what the hidden message was. I was obsessed...these guys are working on a spiritual level... that shit probably sounds crazy but I'm tellin you...it's something in your heart, in your soul. They just changed your life man im telling you, hearing this music and really listening.....you can never go back. It will always be inside you. Like u said "i feel like im ascending to heaven right now..." you got it my dude. Remember that feeling every time you listen to High Hopes. First, sorry for my English, I am a Norwegian, and my English is not the best. Thanks for your fantastic reaction to Pink Floyd. When I grows up in the late 70's I had a few LP's. All was Prog Rock, for the most Pink Floyd (the rest was Genesis, Yes and some other I can't remember). I remember that Pink Floyd was far from mainstream when I grow up (Prog Rock generally). There was a a few friends of me that listened to them, but there was not so many. The songs was too long for radio, and we has only one radio channel in Norway when I grew up! But I will never forget the introduction to Pink Floyd Animal in one of the few radio programs that played "not mainstream rock/pop" called Pop special. It's so funny to see that Pink Floyd has been rediscovered by the younger generation, also from people who listen to other genre of music (Hip Hop and so on). You asked for new inspiration. Since we both love Pink Floyd, I take the chance to introduce you for the group Wardruna with my favorite artist Aurora as a guest singer. This song is inspired from the mythology from the old time of the Vikings. It's about the travel the dead ones must take. For me it is timeless, as Pink Floyd. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ_Ohah-hZ6kadE

There was a serious falling out after the album The Final Cut. Ironic title for the last album with Roger Waters still in the band. The Final Cut is underrated in my opinion. Also Waters fired Richard Wright, the keyboard player, around this time. The album Endless River is a tribute to Wright after he died. They took all the recording Richard did in life and made an album. There's only one song with lyric's on it.

I think it's only right at this point that you do "The Final Cut". Gilmour steps back a little and gives Roger free rein however he is clearly still present with some very intense solos as well as sharing vocals on at least one track. It is a very intense and dark album. And in my opinion very underrated. I don't doubt you will like it.

Its meaning is mainly geared towards UK fans, most Americans don't get majority of the references, especially if they were born after the Falklands war. I personally rate it more of a Waters solo album. Its Wall throw aways with modified lyrics. No Richard Wright, only a little Nick Mason mixed in and an obvious distant Gilmour. I feel it's their worst effort. The best part is the holophonics you get on the vinyl, which doesn't seem to translate to the digital media. If you have the CD or mp4, even .wav file, compare the sound to the vinyl version, the holophonics really comes out.
