Think young cats don’t really even understand what they are listening to. RZA’s beats were on another level for the era of hip hop. If u listen to all the other rap u don’t hear beats like that and u still don’t today. People also don’t really know how good WU really was, they hear the beat but don’t really listen to the words these dudes were saying. Maybe I’m biased because I live 5 mins from Staten Island and Their the reason I ever even started listen to rap music but IMO WU is by far the best rap group to ever do it.

This is the best album in the whole wu tang collective after the debut. Ghostface is the MVP in terms of total output but what GZA did here lyrically will not be matched, and it still happened when RZA was producing in the same style as 36 chambers. Gza had no verse in Meth album, one verse on Dirty album and one verse on the purple tape so me personally, I didn't know what to expect.
