Thanks for the new product review. How would you compare it to the X431 scanners (and their subscription services) that you've recommended in the past?

@@henrybrandt1057 I have been able to do free updates basically on a weekly basis on the Honda specific ones and that’s what I find myself using most because of the cars I work on. The one negative about the x431 is not being wireless. This is great for that but is not as complete as the x431 for Hondas/acuras although will be using this one for remote purposes at times.

Nice review , I had a similar scanner for Volkswagen and it would tell me if the chain was stretched, wondering if this unit would do the same ? You have a great channel 👍

@@kenj.8897 on Hondas if the chain is sterner enough it’ll throw a code. Can also read some data but it’s pretty easily identifiable

How do these compare to ODB2 scanners to more prosumer or dealer devices?

@ChuckNorrizzed all devices have their pros and cons. Even the Honda one has its cons. Have to get the one that best fits your needs

Any idea what the code was for the Honda accord and what may have caused it? I have a 2019 accord base model and would like to do my best to avoid issues. I’ve been doing oil changes at 50% oil life. And only putting premium 91 chevron gas since I got it brand new. Anything else I should be doing to help prevent issues down the line?

@@BCautosutions I have a question I bought a new pcv valve for a 2014 Honda Civic LX I bought the part from my local Honda dealer and it broke when I torqued it down to 33 foot with a Snap on torque wrench pounds is this correct?

@@ouis-xv3vpI just did the pcv on my 14 ilx, snug it up and you’ll be okay, it’s really not super critical to have exact torque spec since it’s just securing it in place. Im assuming you mean the PCV valve on the intake
