Ive been in a similar situation and I tried to fix the situation before I showed the evidence. Think in the ep its more of a shock and panic thing and after she sent the 2nd pic the girlfriend would probably ask why didnt you tell me after she sent the first one?

Every single episode of this show can be solved by the character with a problem being honest yet for some reason people criticize this episode for Adam not just blocking the sister or telling Emma. I'm not sure why people haven't realized until season 3 that the entire sitcom concept is the characters never do the obvious logical thing that would get them out of the situation.

The little girl is called Honor Kneafsey who is now aged 18. She's appeared in quite a few films including The Bookshop, Crooked House and Butterfly Kisses.

a major difference between UK and US tv series is that in UK they dont tend to have many seasons so highly doubt u will get to season 8 as they tend to try to end shows on a high leave the audience wanting more as opposed to US that milk them to death and even when you are now bored of it you watch them through obligation like well we got this far

Came here to suggest this too. The kids are fed instructions but their dialogue is improvised so the adults (who have a script) never know exactly what they’re going to say. Obviously you can’t please everyone but it is very funny and the little girl who plays Karen totally steals the show. You might need to wait until there are a couple more little boomers running around to fully appreciate it.

Id suggest watching a show called Plebs. It has the actor of johnny and i think even paul ritter appears in one episode. Basically it follows marcus, played by tom, his best friend stylax and marcus’ slave grumio, who live in rome just trying to live and make their lives better. It’s actually quite a fun watch, I certainly enjoyed it

As you said he should have fessed up, but that doesn't make for great comedy. The warped minds of this family are just brilliant. At the end, Johnny could have explained all to the girl and possible saved the relationship for his brother, but he just couldn't do it - they love each other but the competitiveness between them seems to ride above all else. Instead of doing the right thing, he just twisted the knife further with his comment about Adam liking tits.
