I think its the idea of the show to feature Michael (his father), Jack is very much setting up the situations and playing the straight man to his dad. Provoking him in all the ways he knows he will get a reaction. Michael Whitehall, who is 48 years older than his son, is a retired theatical agent, of an ardently conservative upoer middle class mindset, his son decided to share him with the world on this show. Its actually quite a touching show at times, as well as funny.

I love Michael Whitehall - beneath all that hard exterior, is a man who truly loves his son, loves his family and is a man who I would be honoured to have as a father figure in my life.

Definitely watch bad education - I loved that show. I think the thing that makes Jack Whitehall and his dad funny is that they are very well spoken and the accent makes it funny when his dad says swear words. Jack calling his dad daddy also amuses me but that’s fairly typical for his class level.

@barriehull7076Ай бұрын
Now I know, ta very much. Is microwave in Welsh really popty-ping? Microwave in Welsh - Colloquial Meicrodon is more formal than Popty Ping. If you are using the Welsh word for microwave in writing, then you should use Meicrodon, as Popty Ping is too colloquial. Popty Ping has also been known to upset some Welsh speakers as they believe it makes the language look ridiculous.
