I remember working for VW / Audi SA call centre and I called him to welcome him to the brand or after he took his vehicle in for an interview in 2011/ 2012 and we had a great conversation. He told me I speak so well to be in a call centre, I need to go back to school. I am where I am because of him. I have since watched and read every interview. Read his book and I will forever worship the ground he walks on. I am so glad I got to see this.❤

One thing that always leaves me in awe with David and his interviews is how he listens to his guests and allows them to speak. He gives them a platform not only to share their stories, but engages the current train of thought and somehow still manages to weave it back to what he had prepared. It's amazing! Thankyou for holding such a fantastic interview and allowing Ntate Bonang to share his accomplished and inspiring journey ! Truly impeccable.

Probably one of the best interview I've heard in a while. One thing I've noticed is that politics is not meant to be a career per se. Further, politics should be a second or even third "career". It is meant to be an application of experience obtained somewhere else. In respect of Cyril, he was a law graduate, not a lawyer. Cyril was never a businessman, he was a shareholder. To assume he single handedly drafted SA constitution is wrong. Possibly is that Cyril was a researcher, but I definitely can say he wouldn't have had the expertise and knowledge to draft such a technical complex both legal and linguistic document. His lack of experience, and being catapulted to presidency is catching up with him.

What an amazing conversation, so insightful. made me realise how our government is working to keep our nation in a cycle of poverty. The current obsession with academia is sickening. Not everyone is academically strong and those who aren't are being left behind. And those who are, are sitting at home with their qualifications that aren't alighned to the countries economical needs. May God raise a new generation of doers, after all this generation of "academic thinking", surely that is what our country needs.

The challenge I have with maestros like Prof Bonang is that they know what went and is wrong with our government or political arena but they don't rise to the show and be incumbents in order to stand a chance to win and can possibly apply all these nice to hear solutions and principles. I have listened to the great Vusi Thembekwayo and Prof and for me they are so sound and knowledgeable but how does it help to identify problems but not rise to the occasion and lead the process of solutions provisions?

As I listen to Prof Mohale I am honestly inspired and discouraged and I see similar posture in Kumkane there that such talented tenth relegate political vacuum to Bo Malema the self driven politicians and Ruel Khoza the legend who is far gone age wise. With his stamina passion and academic accolades he could do so much to safe this country from its ruins. Prof please be a servant leader where you are needed most please. You said it beautifully politician informs economics you can do both for patriotic sake. With humble respect prof please consider an active role in public governance 🙏

Very early into the interview, I thought to myself, "why is he continuing to rob us of his wisdom and capability?" I understand very well that he has immensely contributed to the success of corporate and industry, but the politics are unfortunately inhibiting that very contribution. We need men and women like him to avail themselves of the task that is before us. However, ours is to recognize that we have been blessed with good prophets and messiahs among us.
