King David. I like the way you made ProVerb realise that the 20yrs he spent in Hiphop was not wasted investment but it was the equity that pivots to the opportunities of today.

Hey Verb, I just wanted to reach out and say a huge thank you for this profound interview with Bra David. It means so much to hear your story and to see you receive the recognition you truly deserve. Verb, your music has been a fundamental part of my life. I’ve grown up with your tracks, and your album "The Manuscript" still has a special place in my collection. I know the music industry didn't give back to you financially as much as it should have, but I want you to know how much you’ve impacted us, your fans. In my heart, your music has always resonated deeply. Maybe touching people’s lives was what you were called to do, even if it wasn’t as lucrative as we all hoped it would be. Your perspective on why you stepped back from music left a bittersweet feeling, especially since I've always wondered about your silence on the topic. I'm an old head, and I totally understand the disconnect with today’s market trends - frankly, I'm not a fan of them either. It’s ironic, isn’t it? Like the last line in "Rise of the Underdog," it seems some of your lyrics have turned prophetic. I completely respect your decision to prioritize your family’s needs, like your kids' school fees. It’s a commendable and understandable choice. But I just wanted to let you know that your art made a difference. It mattered to us, it mattered to me, and it still holds its value. Thanks again for sharing your journey, Verb. Wishing you all the best in your business ventures and hoping maybe one day we'll get to hear your voice again in the music scene. I mentioned you in my tweet recently about the book of Proverb and the song Old Scrip and you mized me but I get it now because you say things like, were where we when it mattered most but we were always there man, unfortunately we cant confirm it with money but if God can show you our hearts you will know we really loved your music. Pro to the Verb, the best to ever do it, and thanks for jumping on Super Hero Ego with Shovel and them, have always wanted to hear you on a joint with Mothipa, you killed it, the Don, kill every single song that I spit upon etc....

Im started listening to RAP in the early 90s and we are the same age. I still listen to Hip Hop today with my sons, and Im in a corporate world now.
