Oh, is this going to be the end? Honestly I was imagining a trilogy with a timwskip. I fully invented a third game in my mind set during (or in the lead up to) the Hussite wars - where you'd be forced to side with either Hans and the Catholics and Radzig and the Hussites. I did of course fully make this up in my mind and it would require them to be a bit loose with the actual order of events.

I'm suprised they didn't just do hussite wars now as they have enough resources this time. But I guess they want to finish the story rhey started in first game. One of the more satisfying parts of the previous game was the evolution of somebody who could barely swing a sword into a complete badass. I'm wondering how they're going to incorporate the skills and levelling system. It would be strange to be totally powerful at the beginning of a game, yet won't make much sense to be unable to wield a sword again in terms of story

I'll tell you how they'll do it: at the beginning of the game you'll be at max level, then something happens, you get injured, stay in bed for a few months and have to slowly regain your skills. Another way they could do this is simply showing that Henry didn't do much between the two games and his skills have suffered for it.

Not so far from the truth, with those early firearms. In this part of Europe, firearms began to be used on a larger scale for warfare purposes for the first time. They were something like pioneers in a way because some 20 years later, some Czech vagonbois with firearms became famous throughout Europe for their superior military tactics. They were called Hussites.

I feel like Henry might get injured at the beginning of the story to explain him being weaker than in the first game, the clip of him tumbling off a cliff against that one soldier might be a sign of it. Kinda like the Gothic guy at the start of Gothic 2. And the early stages of the game will show him having his skills but maybe he’ll have an injured status which reduces his effectiveness that only goes away after progressing the main plot far enough, to which he becomes strong again.

Interesting yeah perhaps. Being so accurate and realistic, it’ll be interesting to see how they cover that, and the progression of skills like how they do it seems too good to pass up as a mechanic. I really loved that.

Warhorse Studios are absolute geniuses. The create towns that are real life towns bit take it further by creating them to be indentical to what they look like today and back then. They created a bow and arrow system which takes away the cross hair. This may seem annoying and tough BUT imo this challenge makes landing your afrows very gratifying. Plus, after enough use it will become 2nd nature tk hit the target without a crosshair. The fact that the developers said that smaller arrows wont do much damage.. this suggests that they are aware of the fact that, unlike in the movies, arrows don't pierce through heavy armor UNLESS you use a crossbow which also aligns with mine. They set the game in the medieval Europe of 1403 Bohemia. Which i have NEVER even heard of even as a European history fan. There's SOO MANY amazing things so far

@@nickochioneantony9288"A Sorted Inventory" made my medieval life a lot easier coz well, a sorted inventory. Besides that, the only major complaint has to be performance issues. I installed one of the preset settings of the "Ultimate Performance Graphics" mod by Alano69. Made my game run buttery smooth with stable 60 fps at Rattay - a city which suffers the worst stuttering in the game. Apart from that I recommend "Better Vanilla HUD" and "No Vignettes". If you don't wanna keep the WASD buttons pressed at all times, you can try "Kingdom Come Autowalker". That's about it. It's an amazing game but you have to give it some time. Initially, you may find some of its mechanics hard to learn but you have to be a bit patient. Bear in mind that the game tries to be as realistic with these things as it can. These things are supposed to be hard for you until you get the hang of things as you are just a normal guy who was pushed into a state of warfare. This realism, combined with the freedom that the game provides, is why this game is so loved. Eventually, you will get better and honestly, the game becomes even more fun as a result of it. Good luck! I hope you enjoy it P.S. If applying combos in fight is becoming hard, try a controller. I have heard from some folks that it's easier by using it.

memorable parts of the game were the Brotherhood between Henry and Hans Capon, hating this snarky lad throughout the game, until story has progressed and end up loving the character growth all just from stealing a wine. and saving Theresa (which im unaware until my 2nd playthrough) w/ the knowledge of how hard combat is early game and distracting them was enough is just full on player's volition. there's really a hero in all of us.

In regards to the crime system, there's a part of the trailer in your video where he's about to be branded on the face. This was a common practice in Medieval Europe for criminals, the logic of course being that everyone can see that this guy's the bad sort. I expect that to have an impact on the gameplay. It's a little more curious that it would happen to Henry, who's effectively in with the nobility, as laws tended to be a lot more lax for nobles. In England they often received what they called "cold branding", which is being touched with the branding iron without it being heated. There's also other fascinating historical stuff, such as a trial by God being common, with requirements that sound impossible, such as walking a certain number of steps while holding a red hot piece of iron. But apparently records show a stunning rate of success for participants, so obviously the clergy in charge made sure to swing this one way or another depending on whether they believed the accused was guilty or not.

My favorite activities in this game were exploring to discover secrets and treasure, riding and playing dice. My god, the dice game was addicting. Same thing with the poker game in RDR2. I've always liked mini-games in these RPGs and wish more games had them. I had mixed feelings about the saving system but once you get into alchemy (which I also kind of liked) it became more manageable.

I was actually suspecting the sequel or a spin off to take us into Hussite wars, but I'm open to anything. Only bit I'm a bit afraid of is mention of city being such a huge part of the explorable area. I liked the urban environments in KCD, but liked exploring the wilds, towns etc. even more, in big part to more combat opportunities. I wonder how much combat will be within the city.

They did mention they are increasing the map size by 2 times. The thing I love the most about KCD 2 so far is that from the looks of it, they have not fallen into the trap of improving the graphical look of the game. It was already awesome to begin with. All they went with is a bit more polish on the characters. Rest of the focus is respectfully going towards the gameplay aspect. Looking forward to exploring Kuttenberg too! I just hope it is more optimised this time or else its just Rattay all over again 😅

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 was an absolute gem of a game to me. The gameplay scared me as I am sure it did for many for years so I hesitated playing it. But once I did and got past the initial required learning process I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the game world and setting. I can't wait for KCD2.

Really doubt Dreadwolf will make this year. But KCD2, STALKER, Bloodlines 2, Avowed, SW Outlaws, Black Myth Wukong, Ghost of Tsushima - there is some incredible gaming ahead for sure.

Of course, RPGs like this can never be completely bug-free until millions play them and discover all kinds of things even thousands of testers have missed.

It trailer and even in real locations its min 3 castles in Bohemia paradise map in KCD 2 castle in hill whit two towers is Trosky and in siege is maybe Porez another is maybe Malesov castle and Hello from Bohemian kingdom 😁

one of the things bothered me at the first game is how unrealistic the bow system is. meaning. if the enemy hit you even once its the end for you, but you can hit 20 arrows at him and nothing will happen to him.

The jank was arguably ok rp wise since he was just a noob. Simulation wise, the vast majority of swordplay back in the day would probably look about as clumsy as it was portrayed in game. Can’t wait.

I got the original at launch on PS4 and while I found it very engrossing, I had to put it aside due to bugs and haven't gotten back to it. Hopefully the sequel launches in a better state.

Thanks for the video. This is a stretch on my part, so bare with me... this is supposed to conclude Henry's arc, so he'll be a king during the rise of the gunpowder age. So his kingdom, which he will secure through battle, will have cannons... so he will be the King of Battle. Onward to 400k. All glory to the algorithm.

The first was literally onwnof.jy favorite games of all time (in line with. Skyrim, beyond oasis) but maybe not for everyone. I myself have just as much joy reading the history or lore of the game and or world as much as actually playing it. Loved how they replicated and didn't exaggerate on world. And stayed true to.history. all in all that game has put so many joyful lasting impressions on me

The only thing that worries me is when they said that their team grew from something like 15 people to 200 now. That's a massive increase and hopefully they can handle it well and not become a bloated mess like some studios Also the thing when he said that the city was too big in his opinion. I always get bad vibes when someone brags about how big their game is (looking at you starfield and farcry) All that being said, KCD is my favourite game from the last 10 years tied with Baldurs gate 3, so I have high hopes. Please be good.

I also wonder how they plan to keep Henry as the player character, given how important the growth of Henry (in every sense) was a central part of the first game. Henry can't suddenly be as bad at swinging a sword as he was at the start of KCD 1. Other games usually get around it by relying on a player character that is naturally very skilled and/or well trained (say Shepard in Mass Effect). Then they just need to almost kill them, induce amnesia or simply have them become a little rusty and it more or less makes sense (although I don't know how Shepard keeps forgetting his biotic powers). Henry was defined by his lack of skill and training.

My theory is that from the get go henry will be a lot better than what he started with in the last game but he'll be injured early on and is a bit limited as to what he can for some time , then after fully recovering he'll get better but the skill ceiling for the sequel will be higher , so there's still room for improvement especially when facing a more elite force . I think this makes sense since they said they worked a lot on improving the combat , so it's still challenging but more satisfying and offensive focused

The reveal video was absolutely amazing and the game looks fantastic from the clips shown. However, I'm all about ambition but not at the expense of a game working how it should. I liked the first one but it was so buggy for me that I stopped playing and I hope now that they have a bigger team they're going to make sure the 2nd one is as bug free as possible

I enjoyed the first game but never finished it since it was too realistic sometimes. It was fun and all, but man it was so junky sometimes especially on console. I get it that it was the first title and most of all I really liked it, especially the progression an combat, but the fact that you could only save by drinking that precise beverage and the checkpoints were so sparse (if i recall correctly it saved only when you slept and finished/started a quest) that was a slog especially early game and with a controller. When I played it on pc with a friend it was actually way more fun. I hope the sequel won't have a rough launch as the first one.

Yea I feel it is 100% necessary to mod that save system out. Atleast if you want a game to respect your time. I mean you can make your own,but early to mid game it is hard and costs 200 groschen each about for one save not to mention the drunk feature of it.

While I'm happy a KCD2 is coming this is something I hate, cinematic hype trailer with no gameplay that is there to boost preorders before anything solid is released. I'll wait and see, but I'm happy this game is being launched.
