You’ve been doing this long enough to not use performance DLSS at 4K on pc. It’s 1080p internal res upscaled to 2160p. Consoles would have better image quality on their quality modes in that scenario. Should be using quality DLSS to get a 1440p internal res upscaled to 4k in order to give a more accurate comparison.

Yeah, i think the same. The same was with kcd 1 at launch, max settings was for future gpus and very demanding at this time. 4060 ti is faster than base ps5, so it definitely should run way better on console settings. Im waiting for digital foundry video.

yeah, I never want to compare but when looking at Days Gone texture from foliages to rocks, tree, mountain, etc. which using the modified UE4. FF7 Rebirth look worse comparing to it.

Rebirth has poor image quality due to the awful TAA that's implemented. It obscures the relatively high resolution the game runs at. The PS5 Pro looks sharper not because the image is that much higher resolution but because PSSR is just so much better than the TSR used in the PS5 version

no thats because one of the big things people notice when i a game is lower quality resolution and lower settings in order to hit certain framerates is that a lot of textures become blurry and have a smeared look. its the xbox doing that.

4060ti is 720p, 4070S is 960p, 4070TIS is 1080p and 4080S is 1080p all at native pixel rendering before DLSS reconstruction. KCD2 seems very demanding on not only the CPU but GPU. too from the looks of this.

You can craft weapons and potions, in a very realistic way: forging a blade as a smith, with fire and hammer, and make potions boiling different mixtures of ingredients in a pot on a fireplace; you can hunt in the forest, deers, boars, rabbits and there are also wolfs, I guess there are more wildlife but this is what I have seen, and I don't know if there is fishing, in the first one there wasn't. And regarding the other part, no, there are no levels in the map, you can explore freely but there will be hard enemys to fight sometimes, but no levels, although there are 2 maps, Bohemian paradise forests villages rivers etc map, and Kuttemberg city map, the big city that exists in the real Czech republic

The last game still runs terribly with max settings, or any settings for that matter. Those experimental settings for "future hardware" still don't run properly on said hardware. Everything besides PC is pretty much negligible except minor differences in resolution. Thats a good thing, game is very optimized. Feel like the PS5 pro should offer a bit more though considering its retail price considering the differences are nit-picky. Perhaps down the line in 2025 we’ll see better hardware usage from the pro translate into graphical fidelity - other than Sony exclusives…

The PC performance isn't very good for higher end cards at 4K it seems. DLSS performance is an internal resolution of 1080p for just over 60fps on a 4080 super. DLSS performance tends to look pretty bad on vegetation, which this game is full of. I only ever use dlss performance with games involving path tracing.

PC is so far ahead of consoles it’s not even funny. Textures specially, looks like pc is using a special uhd texture pack. Of the consoles, in quality mode more surprisingly the Series X and PS5 are looking better while the PS5 Pro is looking a bit muddy and blurry. Looks like that pssr tech still need a lot of work.
