This is one of the best readings of the prologue I have seen and heard to date and a very nice camera focus on what happens with on just showing the most important parts. You did have a few minor mistakes in combat part, firstly during the first attack you dodged a reaction attack, you cannot spend survival during your own attack, so you would have been hit in the chest for 3 damage. Secondly during the second attack you missed the wound reaction which would have given the survivor the priority token.

Can I clarify that (i've not played yet) Are we saying that that being attacked counts as the survivors attack - or do you mean you cant spend survival if you are the active target of an attacker (its just the syntax i'm wanting to get here) - Thanks for making mistakes so I don't have to when I teach this ;)

@John you can’t spend survival to dodge during your own activation, so when the monster does a reaction attack. Also another minor mistake, when the Lion chomped on its 2nd activation, you said that the knocked down survivor wasn’t a threat and therefore moved to attack someone else that was. Technically the Lion would only attack ‘facing’ survivor threats, and if there weren’t any (which was the case) it would move to the next criteria, closest threat. So in reality yes, the Lion could have attacked as it did, but the reasoning why was not exactly explained.

Great video! I recently got KDM myself and have been loving it! It's thanks to your previous reviews of it that motivated me to buy it, so thank you very much! Few mistakes here and there that have already been addressed, it's understandable as it's such a huge game to keep track of! Doing great work so far, I can't wait to see more! I never liked homework, but homework for KDM? Yes please! Personally I name the first survivors after the Prologue story names which are: Bearded man = Zachary. Tall man = Allister. Red head woman = Erza. Blue hair woman = Lucy. A good theme however is to name survivors after their achievements in the prologue round. There was a lot of critical hits with the fist and tooth characters so simple names could be like: Ripper! Tearer! Scratcher! Biter! :P Regardless those are my thoughts, as I said I can't wait to see more! Good luck with the rest of the campaign, it can be very brutal at times! :D

Thanks heaps Andrew, Im glad you're still watching and Im stoked you took the time to throw some names into the pool - definitely a fan on that method of naming :D So far I'm thinking definitely something Fist and Tooth related, and maybe a "Lucky" for our survivor who missed out on the Severe Injury roll to the chest? haha!

Though if you name them after Prologue they don't get the Survival point until after the Prologue. Since they are given the first point when you name them. Don't cheat and give them the Survival if you wait to name them directly.

Great video! Remember, you can't dodge on the reaction of your own attack. Should've rolled the severe body injury on that +2 damage reaction attack

One thing I saw in another playthrough is that they threw the stone on the first attack. Why? Because you know it'll be the lion's hand and with a crit you get +1 permanent strength. I think it's an easy way to get a small advantage going forward.

@Bits Of Board - Can you redo all your videos and remix the volumes correctly. Background music is meant to be in the BACKGROUND. And you should take into consideration that people dont want to max their volumes to hear you whisper and then your volume JACKS UP TO 10 AND MAKES US DEAF!
