Theres lots of good options and sometimes they end up choosing the worst ones. KH3 shouldve been waaaaay more than what it was. It totally failed in so many aspects

Regarding your thoughts on _Coco_ and _The Incredibles_ if we take into account the _Toy Story_ and _Monster's Inc._ worlds seen in _Kingdom Hearts III_ they all had an original story exclusive to KH over a retelling of their respective films (Toy Box's story set between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3; Monstropolis' Story set after Monster's Inc.), and Pixar were the ones who had requested that change to Nomura and the team at Square Enix, so it's likely that Coco, The Incredibles and several other Pixar movies (e.g. _Inside Out, Brave, Soul, Luca, Turning Red_ etc.) that will become future worlds in KHIV or a future KH game they will likely follow an original story over a retelling of the movie at the request by Pixar. A potential plot for an Incredibles world could take place after the events of the 2nd film where The Superhero’s are legal to the eyes of the citizens once but face a new threat from the Heartless and The Lost Foretellers, so don’t expect a retelling of the first movie or battling Syndrome. As for Coco, I'm on the fence if it would be set before the events of the movie or after the events of the film, I wouldn't be opposed to a post-movie story for _Coco,_ but Square Enix, Nomura and Pixar need to come up with an idea for what sort of post-movie story they can tell with Coco, the conflict that the Antagonist (The Foretellers) will cause in this world, along with how will Miguel return to the Land of the Dead and also that the story isn't a "carbon copy" of Monstropolis story from _Kingdom Hearts III_ considering that in the original movie, Miguel took Ernesto De La Cruz's Guitar causing him to be Cursed and while in the Land of the Dead he has to receive a blessing from his deceased relatives in order to return back to the living world and at the end of the film after Ernesto was exposed for his crimes and that the Guitar belongs to Héctor, the guitar became part of the Rivera Family and Miguel doesn't get Cursed again. If they do the prequel route set before the events of the movie then this could be the most logical possible route considering that it will involve Héctor trying to cross the Marigold bridge to reach his daughter Coco but will soon encounter Sora or Kairi (whomever will encounter him) who will try to help him which can also tie into Kairi or Sora's character development. The prequel route somewhat makes sense instead of a sequel based storyline or the retelling of the movie cause in the original movie, Héctor for years has been desperate to try to see Coco, regardless if he's not on the ofrenda. On top of that, Coco is the only one that remembers Héctor and keeping him alive for years when compared to the rest of the Rivera Family (aside from Coco and Miguel) including Mother Imelda who just disowned him thinking he "abandoned them" including Coco, when in truth Ernesto de la Cruz murdered him. You even have The Alebrijes that could be another important story plot connection for the world cause in the original film they are meant to be spirit guides to their owners and their families such as Dante (for Miguel) and Pepita (for Mother Imelda). What if there were alebrijes that became corrupted and turned into either a Heartless or more importantly a Nightmare Dream Eater by the antagonist that came to this world such as Xigbar/Luxu or one of the Foretellers and do the opposite on their owners? I could so imagine the world culminating with either a Heartless or Dream Eater boss based on the Mexican deity, Quetzalcoatl with Kairi or Sora riding on Pepita and battling the boss in the vein of Sora riding on Baymax or the Magic Carpet.

When it comes to the Disney worlds chosen by Nomura himself in every Kingdom Hearts game, he chooses Disney worlds based on the following factors: 1. The Environment of the world and the gameplay mechanics. 2. The themes that the specific returning and new Disney worlds based on that Disney or Pixar film have in common to the theme of the specific KH game they're in (e.g. Friendship, Trust, Connections, Promises, etc.) - Which is debatable 3. How does this particular Disney world fit in the games story from an aesthetic and thematic standpoint and for Sora's character development. 4. Disney and/or the fans giving Requests and suggestions to which films they want to see added in the game to Nomura and the team (e.g. Big Hero 6 in KH3, Hunchback in DDD). That being said, as much as the majority including myself would love to have a world based on The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis and especially a Treasure Planet world I realistically don’t think those films will be in KHIV If I’m being honest with everyone and HMK, because even if many fans clamor and demand for their appearances, their inclusion will all fall down to whether Nomura, the development staff at Square Enix and Disney, especially the former really want to have that particular Disney film as a world for that KH game along with if the film itself (e.g. Treasure Planet, Atlantis) would tie into KHIV’s theme of the game. Secondly, while the majority say "Death" is the theme for _Kingdom Hearts IV,_ Nomura revealed in an interview that _Kingdom Hearts IV's_ main theme is actually "Contrast between people from different Positions" so I expect the likes of _Zootopia, Raya and the Last Dragon, Moana, Princess and the Frog_ and possibly _Encanto_ as among the possible new Disney worlds cause those films fit that theme that Nomura mentioned. Think about it: *Zootopia:* Difference in positions between Judy as a Cop to her Boss Chief Bogo, the Predator vs. Prey. *Princess and the Frog:* Tiana and Facilier Difference in social Class from Charlotte and Charlotte's Father. *Raya and the Last Dragon:* The different tribes wanting the Dragon gem causing it to break and Raya and Namaari's bitterness and distrust from one another from each of their Tribe's POV. *Encanto:* Mirabel not being gifted while her other family members are gifted and Abuela Alma is at the top, while at the same time Mirabel figuring out why the miracle is dying and the magic within the house (Casita) being in danger. Even the main setting of Quadratum being set in the "Unreality", could lead to another live-action Disney world making an appearance besides just Star Wars (retelling Return of the Jedi) and Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland could be an excellent choice for another Live-Action Disney world. Why this particular film, well because Nomura had mentioned in past interviews that it's one of his favorite Disney movies (specifically Live-Action Disney films) and he loves the character of the White Queen (Anne Hathaway's character), plus the environment and the world of Wonderland (Underland) itself could provide ties to the Unreality (The World of Fiction) while at the same time be a different interpretation of the Wonderland that Sora visited in his own realm, along with the fact that the film mirrors Sora being in Quadratum and questioning himself if it's a dream or "reality", similar to the older Alice when she arrives in Underland. Not to mention the film touches on the adult Alice trying to regain her sense of Wonder and belief which she lost by the time she’s an adult as the Mad Hatter says so himself, _"You’re not the same as you were before. You were much more….muchier. You’ve lost your muchness."_ That being said, if we get Star Wars, I expect maybe 1 or 2 more Live-Action Disney worlds at most, and I rather they don’t include Marvel in Kingdom Hearts.

Wreck-it Ralph I always thought would be a very good world to sort of fill the Hundred Acre Wood slot in a Kingdom Hearts game. Have it be an actual game arcade in a hub world, and that you can both go into the system to interact with the characters, but also have a ton of mini-games, such as the racing. Now, something that I have REALLY wanted myself is to see some classic Disney cartoon series make it into Kingdom Hearts. Top of my list is Gargoyles. I have always thought that it would be fantastic if we could go to the city of Manhattan and fight Heartless alongside Goliath, having it be a world where you mostly traverse rooftops. Other worlds that I would love to see included are Duckberg from Duck Tales, likely the classic version from the 80's to already fit in with Scrooge and the Triplets as seen in previous games, but also Saint Cannard from Darkwing Duck. Finally, I think that perhaps instead of having the Jungle Book as a world, bring in TaleSpin, and have that version of Baloo flying in his airplane around the city of Cape Suzette. I could just imagine that being a very aeronautical world with plenty of sky pirates and island hopping.

A Kingdom Hearts version of Root Beer Tapper along with Fix It Felix Jr.,Heroe’s Duty and Suger Rush as mini games would be super cool and fun. Not gonna lie, Kingdom Hearts mini games based off of BurgerTime, Joust, PaperBoy, Street Fighter II and Satan’s Hollow would be amazing if they could happen!!!🤓👍🏻 Also I don’t know that much about those shows. Care to share some more details? I do agree with you that it would be a fantastic replacement for The Hundred Acre Wood, since while I do love it a lot, I don’t see it coming back a 5th time unless they make stuff up at this point.

If we're going to get more live action worlds in Kingdom Hearts 4, then I think it's inevitable that we'll get at least one of the Disney remakes involved in some capacity. My best bet would be either Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, since it kicked off the craze, or Maleficent, since it's the most popular and convinced Disney how much money remaking their animated films would make them. Plus, it would be interesting to see how Sora would interact with the characters of these remakes since he's basically met them before, especially a good version of Maleficent that he promises to keep an eye on because he's way too familiar with her animated counterpart.

9:56-10:07 - Keep in mind that we did had some fairly recent Disney films becoming KH worlds sooner than later like 2-4 years after their theatrical release instead of 7-14 years after release such as _Tron: Legacy_ when it became a world in _Dream Drop Distance_ 2 years after it was release to theaters in 2010 along with _Big Hero 6_ being included as a world in _Kingdom Hearts III_ just one year later at the D23 2015 Expo after it was released in 2014. I definitely could see the likes of _Encanto_ along with _Raya and the Last Dragon_ being the most recent Disney animated films implemented as worlds into KHIV, It just will depend how far _Kingdom Hearts IV_ is in development right now and whether Nomura and his team have just started with their Disney world selection or they have just finished with their world selection, but if development for KHIV started since late 2019/early 2020 and the final Disney world selection was in late 2021-early 2022 then _Encanto_ along with _Raya and the Last Dragon_ could appear. Literally, KH3 started development in early 2013 when they started selecting which worlds they want and finished finalizing their Disney worlds in December 2014 when Disney requested to Include _Big Hero 6_ at the last minute.

I think in place of Soul, go for Inside Out. It lets us really dive into what specifically is going on with Sora's mind and emotions, particularly how much trauma he's dealt with over the series vs how he either does or doesn't deal with it in relation to negative emotions not necessarily being bad a la darkness being light's necessary shadow. It seems like a lesson Sora needs to learn like how Erquas was a light purist to a fault. Would also fall in line with Star Wars' whole "bringing balance to the force doesn't mean eradicating the dark" idea

As much as I love the idea of Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar movies like the Incredibles and Coco, different classic and modern Disney movies being added in KH4, It would also be awesome if we got Midgar from FF7 in Kingdom Hearts 4, I honestly just want to see Cloud & Sephiroth in a Kingdom Hearts game again, or instead of Midgar, they could just happen to be in the main KH4 world and we would either get to fight Sephiroth optionally or he could have a bigger role in the story by being one of the main antagonists, which would be pretty cool, it could be like a version of Sephiroth that’s even more powerful than his KH1 & KH2 versions and Cloud might decide to team up with you to defeat him.

Its actually common for summons in this game to join the world of KH before visiting their world, the lion king first appeared as a summon throughout multiple KH games, and when we finally visited his world as Sora, it was revealed that he knew Sora and considered him as a friend, since that they've been on multiple adventures before, and that on the first time we've been to the lion king world

This is true for the most part, but KH3 is an exception. The heartbinders are specifically meant to draw out the power of Sora’s bonds with the friends he has made in prior adventures. This makes them different from the charms in KH2 or gems in KH1. Since Sora never met Ralph, I believe he may have encountered him in a past lifetime since reincarnation is confirmed in the KH universe. While someone may be reborn, the bonds they made with hearts in previous lifetimes remain. The only other summon system to use bonds between hearts as their foundation is the D-Links in BBS.

Well, one summon that existed but never received any storyline or anything, was Chicken Little from KH2. As far as I know, Chicken Little never received anything aside from a summon. Perhaps in a Kingdom Hearts after 4, we may see Chicken Little get a world.

If there's not an Atlantis world or a Treasure planet world i'll be very dissapointed! Thoses movies are excellent and so underrated. It would be fun to explore Atlantis with Donald and Goofy, meet Kida and Milo, save the kingdom from an army of heartless. Visiting Jim's tavern sounds nice, Sora could eat a good meal and dance with his friends; meet Amelia and Dopler as well as their kids; play with Morph etc. Simple activities that everyone can enjoy 🙂 A moana wolrd sounds really cool! Swiming with the ocean, visiting Moana's island, singing with Mahaui. I'm sure Sora and his friends would love to do that!

I want to see worlds from the rescuers, The Incredibles, cars, The Great Mouse Detective, Pocahontas, goof troop, mighty ducks, The Black Cauldron, Robin Hood, Bambi, Dumbo, Fun And Fancy Free (include bongo and Mickey and the beanstalk), Oliver and Company, Who Framed Roger Rabbit (just the Disney characters), the emperor’s new groove, Atlantis: the lost empire, Flubber, Adventures Of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. And returning worlds are Snow White, Cinderella, beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, sleeping beauty, Aladdin, Winnie the Pooh, hunchback of notre dame, Alice in wonderland, and Toy Story. I would like to see the darker aspects of some of the worlds in a mature manner but at the same time have that light-hearted Disney style.

Raya and the Last Dragon, it's perfect for Kingdom Hearts Pirates of the Caribbean as a returning world, going up against Blackbeard this time (just because it makes sense to do him before Salazar) revisiting the Lion King but focus on the 2nd movie (not the live action remake) just because I really wanna see what they can do with that world after the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 Zootopia (or Zootropolis if you're in Europe) a great movie that could be interesting to see, it can even be a Riku world if I had to choose between either Treasure Planet or Atlantis, I think I'd go with Treasure Planet, with Atlantis appearing in the next one (or vise versa) I would love Marvel, so I'd pick one of the Avengers movies, they could go straight to Infinity War and how awesome would it be ...or heartbreaking would it be to see how Sora, Riku and etc... react to the Thanos snap, and who would be dusted or not (and Endgame in the next one of course so they can come back) either way I'd live to see Sora and Riku interact with Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and etc... like it would even be a world both Sora and Riku visit with Riku staying back at Wakanda and Sora going to space with Spider-Man, Dr. Strange and Iron Man and how cool would it be to see Thor's awesome entrance in Kingdom Hearts and well if another Live Action movie that's not Pirates... (or Tron) hmm...why not Jungle Cruise (even tho I've not seen it) or well just something that isn't one of Disney's poor live action remakes Encanto, Turning Red and maybe even Bambi could probably also work as world in a Kingdom Hearts game my most wanted for a new world is easily the Raya movie most wanted returning must be Pirates of the Caribbean and even Toy Story

Personally I think one Pixar world that I would love to see in kingdom hearts but I don’t think actually has a chance to appear anymore would be Wall-E, it has similar ideas to what previous worlds like Toy Box or Monstrum set up, like how hearts and love can be created within anything, even if it isn’t actually alive. However that is also why I don’t think we will see that world anytime soon mainly cause the KH story has moved passed those ideas, it probably wouldn’t make sense to put it in KH4 or in any other future games as it would just retread familiar ideas again instead of expanding on new ones. But still I could always dream of it appearing.

Something important to remember is that for Kingdom hearts 3 they were starting everything from scratch again and so there was only so much they could do all at once. However because of that they have alot of assets and know how the game engine works so it'll be less of a learning curve to get through. I think it's a safe bet we'll have longer to play as other charachters this time and as for the worlds I think it'll be a bit bigger than 3's total too. I'm betting Nomura will want to address those mid point concerns some people had with 3 too so with all that in mind I think we should expect 3-4 orignal worlds and 8-9 disney ones. We might get a Final Fantasy specific one too though that one is a long shot honestly, I don't think those characters will be ignored this time though.

Thoughts on this: 1) Aside from Quadratum, I'd also love to see some more of Scala, but I think that's going to be wrapped into whatever that journey of Mickey will be (if playable or not) 2) Yeah, that's 99% confirmed I think 3) Possible, though I'd prefer the Incredibles world. Imagine a full party with the four family members! They could follow the story or (which I hope) set it right after Syndrome's downfall, with the Underminer, referencing the PS2 game. I say this because the two Pixar worlds we got didn't follow shot-by-shot the movies but were rather two "sequels". I like more when a world fully explores its originality in the narrative 4 and 5) Okay these two are 100% possible to me, same goes with Frozen 2 6 and 7) I would love to see them but as time goes by I get more and more skeptical 8) This world NEEDS to be in KH4. It's a freaking Afterlife and could be seen as a spiritual successor to Nightmare Before Christmas 9) Too recent, otherwise it would make 100% sense. I think we're getting Inside Out instead My personal hope would be to see Duckburg, Wasteland from Epic Mickey, Gravity Fulls or Mewni in the future but I guess I'm dreaming too much. Same for the Corona expansion with Cassandra, Varian and Zhan Tiri

I actually have this pretty cool idea about what they could do with the Star Wars world. They can center it around Return Of The Jedi, the first time you go into the world they're at the beginning of the film where C-3PO and R2-D2 are heading to Jabba's palace to start the rescue mission for Han Solo. Sora meets the droids and decides to help them. Somewhere along the way, they get captured and thrown in the prison. When Luke arrives, Jabba decides to bring out Sora and puts him next to Luke. Then, they get thrown into the arena to battle the rancor. As they emerge victorious, they're sentenced to death in the Sarlacc Pit. When they arrive, the battle happens as it does in the movie, up to the point where Bobba Fett is defeated. Han tells Sora to head inside the Sail Barge to get Leia out. Leia and Sora defeat Jabba and get out. The Sail Barge is destroyed. The second part is when they first arrive on Endor as part of the strike team on the ground to find and destroy the Death Star's shield generator. Most of it proceeds as it does in the movie until the rebels get captured by the Empire, then they get reinforcements from the Ewoks. Han Solo then tells Sora to get on his ship and go to the space battle and aid them there since Luke was captured by the Empire. However, as soon as he gets to space, he gets bombarded by TIE Fighters and has to fight them off. Sora manages to get in the Death Star, and after a long journey, he finds the Emperor's throne room where Luke is talking to Darth Vader and Palpatine. A battle ensues between Vader and Palpatine vs. Sora and Luke. Sora is losing the battle against Palpatine, but Luke gets the upper hand on Vader after a furious assault where Vader mentioned Leia. Luke cuts off Vader's hand, and he has his normal dialogue with the Emperor, and he uses Force Lightning on Luke. Sora tries to help Luke but is useless as he gets struck by the lightning. Then Vader steps in and kills Palpatine as it happens in the movie. They manage to get away on the Gummi Ship before the Death Star is destroyed. Sora and Luke burn Vader's body and then join the celebration on Endor. The end.

Next, here's a die-hard wish list for not Star Wars, not MARVEL, but SQUARE-ENIX Worlds! These are the worlds/franchise cameos I hope for from the same partner company that made Kingdom Hearts, Square-Enix, to appear in Kingdom Hearts IV! #1 ~ The World Ends With You ~ Basically because the fandom deserves to see Sora reunite with the new friends he made in Traverse Town during Dream Drop Distance. Many have hoped Sora would visit Neku's world and perhaps take part in one of the TWEWY games' stories/chapters, and I think we're about overdue for that. In fact, it might be interesting if Sora appeared in the TWEWY World during the sequel, "NEO: The World Ends With You", to not only cross paths with Neku, Shiki, Joshua, and the others, but he might also cross paths with the Wicked Twisters, the Main Protagonists of the sequel, and aid them against the Reapers and/or Noise-based Heartless, Nobodies, or other monsters. #2 ~ Fullmetal Alchemist ~ Ever since I learned Square-Enix licensed the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise around 2004-05, I've been dying to see Kingdom Hearts crossover with Fullmetal Alchemist. I'm more of a fan of the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime more than Brotherhood, but I also know a larger amount of Canon fans prefer the manga and Brotherhood more, so I think it would be profitable and amazing if BOTH the 2003 anime & Brotherhood were mixed/combined into one world, or at least, feature their characters in most of the original Kingdom Hearts worlds. Seeing Sora team up with Edward and Alphonse would be exciting, especially if they fight together against Dante, Father, and their Homunculi servants, including King Bradley. The chance for such a crossover may hopefully be as entertaining or more entertaining than my attempt: Fullmetal Kingdom, my attempt at the crossover while mashing both the two franchises together in a reboot where KH & FMA elements share a law and truth to one-another. #3 ~ Dragon Quest ~ Sure, I could mention one of the other Square-Enix games, like Star Ocean in honor of "Till The End of Time", or Chrono Trigger due to it being a masterpiece of RPG Classics designed with famous Dragon Ball artist, Akira Toriyama, but I felt that if Tetsuya Nomura was going to mix other Square-Enix games into Kingdom Hearts, it might be a good start to bring the Dragon Quest franchise into the mix. Dragon Quest is one of the most famous SE franchises to exist, sharing it's limelight with Final Fantasy in most of it's run, it even follows the same method of repetition like Final Fantasy, new stories, characters, and spin-offs. The idea of the Dragon Quest world could revolve around it's famous monsters, especially everyone's favorite, the Slimes. But if a DQ World was going to follow ONE of the games, no question, the recent entry would be the most exciting: Dragon Quest XI, featuring memorable heroes and villains. #4 ~ Final Fantasy ~ This request is a special one. While the Final Fantasy franchise has always been a part of Kingdom Hearts, especially due to VII and VIII's characters populating most of Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden and Twilight Town, I feel like an ACTUAL Final Fantasy world that represents the franchise in a whole would be important and necessary. It may be a major step for Kingdom Hearts to go from E10 to T, but I can imagine the transition and growth to be entertaining for the fans, especially if the world(s) literally represented one of the Final Fantasy games, or one of their spin-offs, like "Chocobo Tales", "Dissidia, "World of Final Fantasy", and more. If I had to choose though, I'd say it would be neat to see Sora, Kairi, Donald and Goofy traverse through a world based on either IV, VI, IX, or X. IX especially would be a dream come true since Final Fantasy IX was my favorite, and rumors of a cartoon based on IX is being made right now, so it might be neat to see the cartoon introduced in KH4 in a way...still, it might be safer to just introduce IX as it is in Kingdom Hearts World form.

Little late, but one thing I want to see is a Princess and the Frog world, you mentioned with Coco and Soul how the afterlife stuff could work very well to the themes of life and death, I think The Shadow Man from that movie would be a perfect KH villain and with his "Friends from the Other Side", how easy could we change those friends from voodoo dolls to Heartless. "Other Side" being the reality Sora comes from. More so, Shadow Man is like the Maleficent counterpart of this Unreality where he's the main Disney recurring villain who just Wont. Leave. Us. Alone. Maybe he even teams up with Maleficent and Pete when they find they're way to Unreality with the Black Box or whatever.

Personally, I'd like to see at least one world based purely off a Square Enix property. and not in a Verum Rex way, where it's a barely disguised FF Versus 13. I mean a proper TWEYW world or a FF Crystal Chronicles world, where it not necessarily abridges the plot, but rather uses the world's setting and characters to tell a Kingdom Hearts adjacent story (see KH1's Deep Jungle or Neverland for good examples of what I mean). Hell, since this is a completely different universe to the one Sora's native to, it would be quite neat to have some similar, yet different enough parallels. Perhaps using Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland as the first world, or having the Storybook whose pages are stolen instead be the Tale of Ivalice from FFTA.

I feel like all these worlds would be able to teach Sora something, which is the most important thing with a wandering adventurer type character like Sora. Star Wars could VERY much so have Sora learn to... Not so much defeat his inner darkness, but control it. Atlantis and Treasure Planet would help teach Sora that in the beginning of the world's stories, sometimes greed is more powerful than morals. However there's the other side of the coin where later he CAN prove the villain of said worlds wrong, with the crew siding with the atlantians, and Silver joining with Jim. Moana and Coco could start his journey in understanding life's balance. Moana would teach Sora that good and evil can come from the same source, and Coco could teach him that death is a necessary part of life. Wreck It Ralph! Could be a good breather between heavy stories for Sora. Giving him a nice fun time, teaching him it's okay to be who he is, and that while it's okay to be serious, he should continue to have fun as long as it's not at the expense of others. Marvel... Honestly i don't got anything for this... Edit: got something! He could be constantly on the offensive with the Marvel Heros asking why they're not trying to save the people they're trying to catch, in this world the Heros would help explain to Sora that... Some people can't be saved, no matter how hard you try.

I would like JRPG world's ( Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, TWEWY , and Nier) for a change. I think as far as Disney we have enough.
