If they do end up waking up Ventus for KH3, that'll be so freaking epic. Unfortunately it's also going to be a really sad and depressing thing. Just imagine Ventus' initial reactions to being after finding out he was asleep for over 10 years, being told that his closest friend Terra was basically dead, and that Xehanort is raising an army of darkness to recreate the X-Blade and take Kingdom Hearts. Also the terrible flashbacks and anger that Ventus might have when meeting Sora for the first time. Being woken up by a person that looks like the very being that literally tore your heart in two would be very traumatizing for him. Not to mention Axel when he runs into Ventus for the first time. He would be overfilled with so much joy in seeing his best friend back after so long, that he'd go and talk to him. Upon realizing that this person that looks, sounds, and acts exactly like Roxas, has no, nor ever had, any recollection of anyone named Axel. Just imagine the shear look of devastation on Axel's face. He would be heart broken...... and after just getting the stupid thing too.

I think it'd be an awesome story, but I think Ventus should wake up after Sora defeats Xehanort which is unlikely because he is trying to get the Kyeblade. I want to see a more adult version of Ventus, considering he has been asleep for 10 yrs, and Sora had a growth spurt in KH2. Despite the drama, maybe waking up his heart is the end in order to start a new threat. Well, just have to wait and see how the story unfolds.

Yeah there are a few things that happen in DDD that I wont spoil, but actually, Ventus does know Axel in a way. Ventus and Lea met and became friends, so while Ventus may not recognize Lea/Axel immediately, they would know eachother. Even if it was Axel, he has the memories of Lea.

Man, the ending always gets to me. It's just amazing how everything is interwoven to set it up for the end. I know it may be a little cheesy but this game series is one of the reasons I am who I am, it teaches that as long as we have each other, we are never alone, all our hearts are connected. I know I've only met a few people who play Kingdom Hearts, but it's a game that connects its fans, because deep down, even though not all of us have met each other, we are all connected through our hearts and our love for the series. I have to imagine that KH fans just hug each other whenever they meet and talk about the games.

Well the struggles in life are what makes everyone who they are, if life was perfect everyone would take everything for granted, people still take things for granted even in the world we live, life is short so no one should ever take anything or anyone for granted, because you never know how long you'll have them, this game is a example! What are most fantasys about, Heros or a hero, sometimes fantasys give you the false illusion that the hero of the story is perfect and has no struggles, but everyone has struggles and nobody's perfect, so I like this game because it shows that the hero isn't always perfect, it shows that sometimes the hero makes mistakes and that if the hero is cearless they can easily fall, that even the greatest heros have their darkest nights, sometimes they overcome their fears and sometimes they don't, I mean take Terra for a example, he seemed so strong in the beginning like he could never fall, then he became obsesst with power, he got to the point that he would do anything to get stronger to beat the darkness within him and it overtook him, Terra a hero fell, or Aqua, she seemed kind of weak in the beginning like she might give in if someone were to threaten her friends, and there were times where she wanted to give up and almost did but she let everyone around her help her, she kept all of them in her heart even when they weren't around she let them be her light and then she followed her light, in the end yes she made a sacrifice to save her friend, she was very brave to do that not knowing if she would ever get out of the world of darkness, bravery is one of the strongest trates of a hero she didn't give up and she became a hero in the end, and Ventus, he seemed so scared and weak he was to young and innocent to understand the full extent of being a hero, all he knew was that he wanted to be one, but he didn't realy know why, through the game Ventus grows stronger and stronger and along the way he starts to loose his friends, then he finds out that his whole life had pretty much been a lie, that he was some kind of weapon only a tool for The darkness that he didn't even have a real purpose and it tore him apart he was scared, but he found hope in everyone he meant along the way and they gave him light and bravery and he changed his fate he destroyed the X-blade and and Vanitas, even knowing that in doing that, he could destroy himself, so the one that seemed too young to be a hero actually showed more bravery then most so called heros would have and he became a true hero. So there you have it, you may think that the story is dark, but if you realy look at it, it brings you hope and streanth to carry on, it's actually a story of Light.

I just finished watching the video, this game is so much more sad than 352/5 Days. It feels strange, the first game I ever saw of the Kingdom Hearts game series was Birth By Sleep but the first game I played was Kingdom Hearts 2. I didn't realise until now that without this game I wouldn't have played the other ones. I'm happy I found the trailer to Birth By Sleep, this is now one of my favourite games.

Yeah sorry for the spelling errors, my english has improved a lot since I wrote that comment XD I'm not sure which game/story is more sad, both Ventus, Terra and Aqua knew who they are and I assume that they had memories of the past as well, while neither Roxas and Xion knew who they are or had any memories from their past, they could only questioned their existence, the purpose of it and ponder on how their past was or ponder and question the meaning of anything happening around them. It must have been painful for Axel too knowing whats going on but not really being able to do anything about it but follow Xemnas orders. Thats what sad for me about 358/2, along the fact that Xemnas was just using both Roxas and Xion heartlessly for his own evil plan, and the only way to stop his plan was for both Xion and Roxas to disappear. Judging from how the story processed in both of the games and why, 358/2 is a depressing game from both the start to the end. I guess Birth by Sleep is a bit depressing too but not as depressing as the story in 358/2 days.

Can she find her way back into the light? With each heart comes many questions, but it is the bonds of friendship between the three and the assistance of others which will bring the ultimate answers. Time will tell the fate of these three hearts, intertwined by destiny.

Odd thought, during the mark of mastery trial two, Terra nearly lost himself to darkness, but isn't the point that Light and Darkness need to be balanced, so shouldn't they be taught to wield both, I suppose Roxas's duel Keyblades are an example of what I mean

Theorists have said that Sora was never meant to wield the key-blade in the first place.. But what if.. Ven passed his Key-Blade to Sora by merging with his heart like they did when Ven required help/a second chance?

Its confirmed that sora was never meant to have the keyblade... In a cutscene in dream drop distance he mentions that he knows he was never supposed to have the keyblade, but he was proud to be a small part of something bigger. Its the scene before he fights xemnas

Well, it's been over 10 years in-game, and several characters Ven met are shown to not remember him. Phil trains Roxas in 358/2 Days but doesn't mention Ven. Donald and Goofy see the photo of Roxas in KH2 but don't recognize him, so they forgot too. Tinker Bell MAY remember, but it's unclear if its because Roxas reminds her of Sora or Ventus. Pretty much the only characters who are 100% confirmed to remember him are Aqua, Mickey, and Yen Sid. Also, Xemnas is strongly implied to remember Ventus since he was searching for the Chamber of Waking in Castle Oblivion.

Great job really! Out of subject birth by sleep,kingdom hearts 2 and 358/2 days are my faveourite games of the franchaise and tbh the impact birth by sleep has had on me was way bigger then all of the other games of the kingdom hearts franchaise I can even say it brought me to tears..!
