@@jlcdavenport6268 everyone says that, but seriously, playing it on release with no spoilers, and coming from kh 1 where a plot point was sora (temporarily) literally offing himself by self heart stab, I mean... With the party system it also added the feeling of someone possibly being replaceable. Most people now can be cynical and know obviously, there's not going to kill off goofy, and Winnie the Pooh isn't going to cast firaga or violence, but at the time it was a real scary moment. Especially when in the same game axel immolated himself, the game prior had a major character erased from existence, the beginning has another character erased from existence, and birth by sleep wound up with major characters possessed, stuck in a coma, and stuck in the underworld constantly fighting for years. There was also the mobile game which was essentially a existential crisis simulator. Pretty heavy stuff aside from spending 10 minutes fighting a Disney villain

I highly recommend Kingdom Hearts! Disney brings the wackiness and lightheartedness while Final Fantasy brings the slightly dark tone. Throw characters and worlds from/remiscent to each in there and ya got Kingdom Hearts! 😁👌🏼 Sadly Kingdom Hearts III doesn't have Final Fantasy characters, which is very strange IMO since they've always been in there. Other than that, lovely cameos (I wanted Noctis and gang, and maybe others to be in KHIII tho)!
