I noticed that Sora's clothing looks really similar to Mickey's design a long time ago. Let's say, I'm much more aware at what I see in video games that you guys usually do. I'm not insulting you, it's just that I'm surprised that you guys don't even see the actual details of a game a lot more clearly than I do. This is also why I usually point out the details in the Sonic series that fans clearly didn't get.

Fake Emotion they know how they just don't. Final Fantasy 1-5 stories are simple. They went in a new direction with more of a story and character development focus. Dragon Quest has always stuck with the old school gameplay and simple story. Neither are bad, I am a fan of both.

She was also Wendy, both in Peter Pan and in KH1 (but didn't record anything new afterwards because she was retired as those roles in 2005 - she was seriously the official VA for *fifty-one years* [between first and last recordings as Alice, she was Alice in for 54 years in total and Wendy for 49]). She reappears in Birth by Sleep as Kairi's grandmother, as well.

I never even knew that...the only VA thing I knew about around the time the first one came out was that Genie was voice by the VA for Homer Simpson instead of Robin Williams and I couldn't hear the difference very much.

seraphim2001 Yes, it's pretty obvious that the VA for Homer was also the VA for Genie in the game, but it's no surprise really sense that actor has his finger in that pie already due to him playing The Genie in the Aladdin TV show on Disney Channel. The thing that is interesting is, with Christopher Lee adding his star power to the second game (though not the others there after sadly) it may be possible to see other star-powered figures later. My hopes is that they get to have most of the cast of Star Wars be in the next Kingdom Hearts game (because it's pretty obvious that Disney will want to add that to the game sense now acquiring it). It would be amazing to have a fully voiced James Earl Joans in the cast with Mark Hamill in the game as well or maybe even Liam Nissen and Samuel L Jackson.

Another bit of info on Kingdom Hearts says that a world based on Fantasia was going to be in the first game. However, that plan went under and Chernabog was included as a boss for the English version. It was then included in Final Mix.

Hey DYKGaming, did you know Sora is actually based off another Squaresoft character named Sion barzahd? same clothes with a different color scheme, him and other characters like Pence rock a style called "Dog street" which is also from the game The Bouncer, in which Sion is based.

Dee Cross There is literally no difference between the two. The dogstreet wear, hair, gloves, etc all point to The Bouncer as that is the ONLY game that displays the contents. Also Square can say Sora is an original character but look at the two side by side...

Barry Allen Saying they look similar isn't enough. *Find a source that directly states that Sora's design is based on Sion's.* That's what I'm looking for. (By the way, only Pence wears anything that says 'Dog Street' on it. Therefore Pence is the only character who can be said to directly reference The Bouncer.)

Anyway, Allen, do you want an actual, confirmed case of 'this character is based on another one'? Axel is an intentional recycling/recasting of Reno. This is confirmed by the voice actor list being identical in all languages and - more importantly - by Nomura *stating this in more than one interview*. Want something as tenuous as your claim too? Sora throwing up his hand at the end of the first game's 100 Acre Wood is theorised by KHInsider to be a deliberate reference to the ending of The Breakfast Club, due to the line afterwards ("Sora, don't forget") and Nomura admitting to being a bit of a movie addict. This is for some reason compiled in their Facts feature along with items sourced from the various official Ultimania books.

Yuri, you missed SO many things. Mainly a lot from the games other than the original, aside from a select few, like Pride Lands in Kingdom Hearts II. For example, that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days would originally feature Prankster's Paradise (similarly to KH 3D), including a unique plot involving Roxas and Xion's "lack of a heart" being compared to Pinocchio. Also, in 358/2 Days, Tinkerbell was meant to actually speak, but instead ended up mute for unknown reasons. Also in 358/2 Days, Hades and Megara (Meg) were planned to appear, as well as the Crooked Chariot enemy, which would supposedly appear in Olympus Coliseum. Also, while Kingdom Hearts coded was going to contain Shadow Sora, a boss in Neverland of the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded would have talk sprites similar to 358/2 Days, but were exchanged for the expression images we have in the finished project. Also, interestingly, models of Riku, Sora, Kairi, Ansem (Seeker of Darkness), Xemnas, and Twilight Thorn were found in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, in which they were placed after rearranging Kingdom Hearts 3D's beta. Guess those lost models have to go somewhere, right?

5:08 - I don't know about the first picture, but I've heard that the second image wasn't used because they thought it too closely resembled the Omega Weapon from FFVIII, and they wanted a design that looked more original for a final boss. Given what the image looks like, this actually makes sense.

Man I sure wish we could have visited that Jungle Book level in Birth By Sleep, that would have been fun. And seeing Pleakley in the Deep Space level would have been cool too, but the way it ended hints that awe'll probably be seeing him in KHIII with the rest of the gang. And WHOAh thats cool about Alice's voice acting. She sounds just the same as she did ^^
