I can’t blame him really. Luxu probably been alone for who knows how long and had to keep his identity a secret in order to carry out his Masters plan, but by doing so he had leave everyone behind and not make no friends of even companions. Hell him and Xehanort were mostly business partners than friends so seeing Sora talk about that must have really reminded him of his back then which is why he couldn’t say anything.

I now understand why Luxu freaked out. When the other apprentices were chosen to be leaders of unions foretellers to train pass impart their beliefs and knowledge on the next generation he never once felt out of place he was proud to even have a small role in all that is to come. But when Sora kept fighting and was proud to be a part of it all made him realize Sora was like him.

DARK ROAD SPOILERS i think another reason Luxu must be upset here is because the person who he was looking for, the one who he realized wasn’t Xehanort at the end of dark road in the epilogue cutscene, was actually Sora. He never saw it coming, and he’s rarely caught off guard by anything ever, yet here he is, surprised. And then, on top of all that, on top of recognizing that Sora isn’t just any old person, he shouts that his friends are his power, the phrase that new keyblade wielders were taught back in Daybreak Town, a phrase his master most likely came up with and passed down.

The people Xigbar sees behind Sora proved Sora is the Child of Destiny (he Empathed those people into his Heart) and through thing that is happening Now (Xehanort attempting to turn Sora into a Darkness Vessel) proved The Master of Master was right. Because the Master never gave Luxu a Book of Prophecies. Xigbar didn't know anything about the future, its not like he knew for a fact things would go as planned. He was scared then that things would go wrong.

It's a scene with strong implications that Sora is a cheater on his own. Brain was a "virus" in the MoM's plan, because he wanted to change the destiny that MoM carefully arranged. Sora with his "the true leader knows that destiny can't be changed, and he accepts that" is a bullshit quote with basically saying "I'm what leads my destiny", since we know that destiny(of the world) cannot be changed on its own, but can be forced to change(the MoM is doing that). Luxu was most likely spooked by his abnormal response, since Sora knows he was not chosen and in the long run, it's not him what changes the world(it's yet another bullshit, since Sora is anything but normal at this point).

I think it'll start to slowly unravel in the next saga, and no one really paid a massive attention to Sora alone(it was more like, they wanted him, but they won't then whatever), it's more like he was nurtured for some purpose. Otherwise, the MoM could just get behind his plans right away, but he set up the stage for a specific future that'll be played by a very specific group of people. Sora is a centerpiece after all. Other than that he's a force on his own, he just does not understand what's going on, but shapes the future anyways.

Xemnas and Xehnaort formed the organization for a specific reason. Round up a bunch of empty husks, hook them up to Kingdom Hearts, then fill 'em all with the exact same heart and mind. Translation: They were gonna turn all the members into Xehanort

It's like this: The original Organization was formed for the sole purpose of finding 13 vessels for Xehanort's heart but most of the members of that Organization 13 weren't strong enough to become vessels and so that Organization fell apart but Xehanort had a backup plan: His Heartless traveled back in time to give his younger self the task of visiting splintered versions of himself from across time as well as other vessels to fill out the ranks of the Real Organization 13.

I mean, it was one thing when I thought he was just Xehanort's right hand-I could understand him getting caught off guard by Sora's resilience. But Luxu has been alive for centuries, and he's seen some shit-I can't help but feel there's more to what we saw here that would make him get so flustered.

I think that a team of editors and writers should come and assist him with his ideas to order them in ways that make sense and don't contradict each other. They should also plan the entire series' story in advance because this is the result. Furthermore, I think there are cases where they should be able to say no to some of his ideas or at least be able to modify them in favor of something that works better for the overarching story of the series.

Idk... Kingdom Hearts X, the game relealing the existence of the foreteleers MoM and Luxu, came out one year later... maybe he had planed somethin' about past connection by this time ? Regardless, seing this scene, with or without the knowledge of KH3 reveal one thing about Xigbar. He felt somethin', and by the look on his face, after the shock of this vision... it was most likely a feeling of loneliness.

Sora's adamant stance ran in direct contrast to his own philosophy. Luxu's probably the sort of person who would view gaining power for one's goals as necessary to achieve them. Luxu watched all his friends turn on one another, completely nullifying his view of "friendship is power" thing. then along comes some no name kid whose convictions about his friends making him more powerful literally makes him more powerful, it must be hard for luxu to see that someone got exactly what he never had with the other masters. gotta remember, the keyblade war, at its core, was about a bunch of friends turning on each other at the expense of an army of children, luxu didn't believe in friendship simply because he saw proof that it wasn't real. Sora, by contrast, is proof that it was real, and luxu never really had friends in the first place.

I'm already half Xehanort" - I'm starting to think that Xigbar/Luxu is the true origin of the golden eyes, after all of the semblances he's had, the semblance he has as Braig was only a redundancy of his own possession. What I am saying is, what if Luxu possessed Xehanort when he was young(er), and then finally later on in another 'semblance' or body, Xehanort re-possessed Luxu current semblance now known as Braig/Xigbar ? The scene closes up on his golden eye, and we've seen subtly and foreshadowing with Xigbar before that lead up to new understanding about his character. Braig had the same heart as Luxu, but Luxu had to play the part of being 'Norted' to fulfill his role and keeping close to No Name. All of this is why I think Luxu or the Master of Eraqus and Xehanort possessed them. Maybe it could have been a timeline of possession that Luxu made through with...?

He wasnt lying or bluffing there. He was Norted. You can see it happen in Birth By Sleep when his eyes change colors and his ears become pointed. But his role was to go along with Xehanorts plan so he had to accept that part of it as well. What you see "die" when you fight him in KH3 is likely that Xehanort part but he comes out of it just fine.

It’s either the darkness that affected Luxu permanently or it’s something much deeper than that.

I guess that brings up the question about whether or not Braig was Luxu helping Xehanort before he fought with Terra, or if Xehanort "norting" him was part of the process of becoming Luxu. Like perhaps Luxu was actually in Xehanort and then went to Braig to further his plans.

We know Xigbar references multiple things at the same time. What if... the "us" is actually Luxu and the Master of Masters? He does have his own plans, and Sora is a special game piece to Mom, the one to stop Darkness's win.

No they don't have Hearts, but they can regrow one. The regrowing process starts a little after but you need to be around others to complete that processes. We know that Roxas had a heart b4 we learn of what nobodies actually are but DIZ and Yen Sid lead us and Sora to believe that isn't the case. People ran with it when the games (Chain of Memories, Days, and Kh2 itself) have made it clear nobodies can become their own person. Yet since no one really hung out with each other for ten years, the process was really slow. Axel hangs with Roxas and Xion for them all to gain their hearts and Namine gets along with Sora and Riku to gain her own.

What happened to Sora's character development here? After seeing this the first time I had high hopes for him in KH3, but it ended up just being the cringeworthy KH2 Sora all over again. Not to say that DDD itself didn't have its share of cringe-inducing moments but this particular scene was very well-executed as far as I'm concerned. Then KH3 goes and erases it all. What. The. Hell. Seriously, did Sora just lose his newfound maturity along with his powers when he almost got norted, or what?
