I love how he casts Doom on you right as the battle begins. It really makes the battle a true "Test of Time" in my opinion. Also, I kinda find it fitting as Marluxia's element is like Life and Death, or so I think.

@tenjiw5 it's a hit counter from Marluxia's scythe attacks, if it reaches 0, you die, no matter what HP you have left, the reaction command at 3:38 adds hits to the counter

@Comment276 lol, marluxias scythe attacks don't do damage. They move down the number above soras head, and if that reaches 0 sora instantly dies.

Its called the 13th Reflection. The one during the fight with Axel is the 13th Struggle, the fights with Saix and the others is 13th Dilemma and Xemnas has the Darkness of the Unknown if anyone wants to know.

@Shnzmnky In thsi fight you dont lose HP from direct hits from Marluxia's scythe, you only lose hp with his spells and stuff. However each time you get hit by Marluxia's weapon , you will notice the number over Sora's head go down.. when it goes down to 0 : Game over.

@chaoslight11 It's kind of like Marluxia's Doom sleight from Re:CoM. Every time you take a hit, the number goes down by one. If it hits zero, you lose, regardless of HP.

@Oathkeeper1319 the number is equal to Sora's level. With every hit it decreases by one. When the number hits zero, it's a gameover for you. the Reaction Command at :25 allows you to replenish your number.

The ability to summon those orbs of Light and making them rapidly rotate around you have to be ones of the best finishers in KH, imo.

The Reaction Command that Sora uses in this battle(the one he gets off Marluxia's Scythe with the Keyblade and attacks him with it)is called "Love Scythe" or "Rob Scythe" 'cause in Katakana it says "Robu Saizu"

@TheKoopalings its called doom state in final fantasy but this one... instead of losing one doom counter per turn(which is impossible in this kind of system) and if it reach 0 your dead... but in this one that kind of doom decreases a counter per hit. when reach 0 your dead....

@Lumoreno321 those numbers above soras head means how many more times sora can get hit before sora loses the battle. If you get the number to zero, you lose the match. The only way you can get more points is to use the reaction command when sora uses Marluxia's weapon against him. Sora will gain 13 more points.

It gives you a sythe-shaped accesory called Full Bloom that just increases your AP by 5 and your ATK by 3. When you level it up to Full Bloom+, it gives you the ability MP Haste

It's called a Death Counter, sorta like Doom spell from other games, except that instead of time/turns counting down it counts down # of hits from Marluxia's sytche, which when it reaches 0 you die.

They added 5 Organization XIII battles of the members that died in Castle Oblivion, they added Roxas in The World that Never Was, 13 Organization XIII DATA Battles, and Terra, which is 20 extra bosses.

358/2 days probably fits in during kh1 and chain of memories and during the period of time while sora's asleep because its about how the organization got together. Birth by sleep takes place about 15 years before kh1 (or something like that cant exactly remember) and Terra Aqua and Ven are Keyblade Weilders from that period and are called chasers probably because they are chasing Master Xehanort and his apprentice Hope this helped! ;)

the only attack that can damage ur hp, it seems, is when marluxia makes those orbs on the floor and you either touch the orbs, or, whens he puts that thing that follows u and eventually explodes

Yes, basically the same stats, but with the added Critical Mode, you play the game with bonus abilities, more AP bonus, in return for being more vulnerable to attacks than proud mode and 60 max HP.

Hannesthekid, it doesn't do anything to you except kill you with the counter reaches 0. It just annoyingly beeps a lot when the counter is 1.

For ALL people unfamiliar to this Marluxia fight, he is facing the Absent Silhouette of Marluxia. The Absent Silhouette is kind of like a ghost/reproduction you could say of the members of Organization XIII you killed in COM. The number above Sora's head is the number of hits he can take before he dies. Sora is only damaged physically by touching the pools of flowers or by the flower budding above his head.
