How would I ever know about living a man’s thumb unless I have been living under his thumb all my life, because I have never been able to go anywhere or truly enjoy my life, I will always regret ever coming back to Gallup New Mexico after the car wreck I had in Albuquerque. Part 1 in Christ Luke 2:8-20(The Shepherds and Angels) "8 And there were shepherds( 😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤) living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch(😊❤ "keep watch" = "against thieves and predatory animals" Zondervan NIV Study Bible) over their flocks at night."(Luke 2:8 Zondervan NIV Study Bible) Pause in Luke 2;8 the Bible said " And there were shepherds living out of the fields nearby so the "living out of the field "in Luke 2:8a could mean " Does not necessarily mean it was summer, the dry season. The flock reserved for temple sacrifice were kept in the field near Bethlehem throughout the years."( Zonddervan NIV Study Bible) and again the phase "keep watch"( Luke 2:8B Zondervan NIV Study Bible)" keep watch" means "against thieves and predatory animals" Zondervan NIV Study Bible) The what happen? What do you think these shepherd felt when"9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord 😊❤ shone around them( at night remembering of Luke 2:8 "...at night."( Luke 2:8b Zondervan NIV Study Bible) , and they were terrified( that is the shepherds reaction were terrified, it also makes senses because imagine you were one of the shepherds( how many? only God knows), you were just doing your job as a shepherd(😊❤) to protect your flock (of sheeps) over "against thieves and predatory animals( like wolves) " at night( Zondervan NIV Study Bible) and all the sudden In Luke 2:9 "9 An angel of the Lord(😊❤ or Jesus(😊1st❤)'s angel) appeared to them( shepherds😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤), and the glory(😊❤) of the Lord(😊❤) shine around them, and they were terrified( common reaction in Christ) ."( Luke 2;9 Zondervan NIV Study Bible). It happened to Zechariah too in Luke 1:12 " 12 When Zechariah saw him( a angel), he was startled and was gripped with fear( so "fear" is a "common reaction" as with Gideon( Judges 6:22-23 and Manoah( Judges 13:22 ) too in Christ."( Zondervan NIV Study Bible) But that's not the end of the story because when they were fear or afraid or terrified or " with fear" . In Luke 1:13 "13 But😊❤ the angel( Gabriel( Luke 1:19said so) 😊❤ here in this case for Zechariah encounter Gabriel😊❤) said to him(Zechariah 😊❤): " Do not❤ be afraid, Zechariah😊❤; your prayer has been heard, your wife Elizabeth 😊❤ will bear you a son, and you are to give him( John or John the Baptist later) the name John(😊❤). "( Luke 1:12-13 Zondervan NIV Study Bible so that Zechariah saw the angel Gabriel and then he with fear( very common reaction. If you see an angel of the Lord God you too will feel similar way or in awe or afraid or fear too) but Gabriel ( Luke 1:19, Luke 1:13 ) reassurance Zechariah do not be afraid. "Do not be afraid" to me is equal (=) to love assurance from God through the angel( Gabriel) and opposite of fear= Do not be afraid. Imagine you were in Zechariah's shoes in fear or afraid and the angel( Gabriel , a good angel) said to you " do not be afraid" You might asked why not? Because the Bible said in your( or Zechariah's prayer) prayer has been heard( God listen to our prayers if according to His will in Christ) in Luke 1:13, "13 But😊❤ the angel( Gabriel( Luke 1:19) said to him(Zechariah 😊❤): " Do not❤ be afraid, Zechariah😊❤; your prayer has been heard, your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him( John or John the Baptist later) the name John(😊❤). "( Luke 1:12-13 Zondervan NIV Study Bible ) This also happen to Mary(😊❤) too in Luke 1:28-31 The Bible said, "28 The angel( Gabriel) went to her and said, " Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord (😊❤) is with you." 29 Mary was greatly trouble at his words and wondered what kind of greating this might be. 30 But the angel sais to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary😊, you have found favor 😊❤ with God(😊100%❤). 31 You will be with a child( baby Jesus😊1st❤) and give birth to a son( Jesus😊1st❤) , and you are to give him( Jesus😊1st❤) the name Jesus(😊1st❤)."( Luke 1:28-31 Zondervan NIV Study Bible). Since Luke 1:26-33 show the content and context on what's going on , so i will repeat these Scriptures in Christ( Jesus😊1st❤) in Christ to make a point in Christ. Luke 2:26-34 "26 In the sixth month, God(😊100%❤) sent the angel Gabriel(😊❤) to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledges to be married to a man named Joseph(😊❤) , a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary(😊❤). 28 The angel( Gabriel) went to her and said, " Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord (😊❤) is with you." 29 Mary was greatly trouble at his words and wondered what kind of greating this might be. 30 But the angel sais to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary😊, you have found favor 😊❤ with God(😊100%❤). 31 You will be with a child( baby Jesus😊1st❤) and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus(😊1st❤). 32 He(Jesus 😊1st❤) will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High(😊❤). The Lord God(😊❤) will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever😊❤; his(Jesus') kingdom will never end." 34 " How will this be, " Mary asked the angel, " Since I am a virgin? " 35 The angel answered, " The Holy Spirit(😊❤) will come upon you, and the power of the Most High(😊❤) will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son(Jesus😊1st❤) of God(😊100%❤) 36 Even Elizabeth😊❤ your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. 37 For nothing is impossible with God(😊100%❤)." 38 " I am the Lord's servant😊❤ , " Mary(😊❤) answered. But😊❤ the angel said to them( shepherds), "Do not be afraid.(period)" I bring you( 😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤ 😊❤) good news(😊❤ ) of great joy (😊❤) that will be for all people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior(Jesus(😊1st❤) , our Savior in Christ ) has been born to you( " you"= plural you for the Shepherds😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤) he( Jesus😊1st❤) is Christ( " Christ" means Messiah= Jesus😊1st❤) the Lord(Jesus😊1st❤). 12 This will be a sign to you( 😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤): you will find a baby( baby Jesus😊1st❤) wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. the enemy is not free your identity he’s only a tint to make you feel like you have one to keep you feeling trapped once you have your ego death and your able to see the interconnection between everyone and how we choose who we are and we can truly be anything nothing has power over us or our beliefs in the process or in ourselves. remember who the enemy is.. we are all surrounded by ourselves let go. i learned how not to be so possessive this way because instead of keeping everythign that made me me to myself I was able to feel happy that I could be aroudn peopel who have the same insercurities or the same goals.
