Modern Hollywood couldn't come close to producing a masterpiece like The Tumblebutt Saga anymore. A scathing critiques on toxic masculinity and the horrors of science unbound from the guide rails of ethics. A woman lead that more than surface deep and showing that woman can and should be more than a "damsel in distress." I really hope the next time we come back to this masterpiece we see more of her younger years after losing her adopted father, seeing how she copes with the loss. Dose she bury herself in the work, repeating the sins of her adopted father or does she find this healthy middle ground so she can find happiness in light of all of the bad. 1,000,000/10... no notes.
