One KZbinr has actually figured out that the torso piece can be used as a pretty sick shoulder armor (he upgraded Hound with 2 slammers). I've tried it with Shockwave and it looked really sick. I've even managed to use all his pieces as armor/weaponry.

I think Slammer is supposed to be white, since he turns into a tower for Metroplex's base mode. I do have G1 Metroplex, so the tan might be from the plastic yellowing over time.

Slammer can be easily retooled into a deluxe Megatron, with or without the weaponizer gimmick. They could do it twice with G1 and G2 colors.

I don't think that's possible without the Weaponizing gimmick, considering that this thing has to completely break down to transform. If you don't do that then there's no way to engineer the other mode with this particular design.

Still, the image of Slammer and/or Brawn chucking Warpath into the face of someone like Scoprinok (smallest titan, not BW, though that would be funny in a different way) so he can use his chest canon and point blank for a takedown larger bots couldn't do DOES bring a smile to my face. Though I would argue he is a tank of a kind, just by MMO style role rather than altmode.

Tbh I usually don’t count them in with the Weaponizers outside of their play pattern for this and one other reason: instead of transforming from robot/vehicle/a bunch of weapons, the Modulators transform into robot/building/mostly some sort of armor and maybe a gun or two.

I see you didn’t mention the tower alt mode. Kind of understandable, as it literally just sits on top of a certain spot on Metroplex’s City mode for the most part and looks like a rather last minute addition. Other than that, it looks like a pretty neat addition to a Metroplex display and has a pretty neat boxy design. Almost looks like something from the cartoon if you remove the extra greebled details on it.

You just flip out the waist part pointing straight up then plug the base of the tank barrel (the black not silver end) into either left or right thigh stump then here comes the hardest part you set the whole thing on the black helipad of metroplex base mode and done "tower" mode

I have two of these because I somehow forgot I had already pre-ordered it, and both of my copies are pretty loose. When this came out and the packaging hinted at a new Metroplex coming I was so excited at the prospect of getting a new G1 Metroplex - especially since I really hated the lanky, awkward proportions on Thrilling 30 Metroplex, especially the weird mid-section, which actually has kind of the same problem Slammer has without his backpack on. :P Was really disappointed when it turned out to be Cybertron Metroplex, who, as far as I know never had a Slammer or Sixgun to begin with?

The whole "a few parts look like weapons and the others are just chunks of nothing" is my MAIN problem with weaponizers. Every time I try to weaponize a figure I wind up with half the parts on the back Also, frankly I struggle to find a figure big enough and with the proper ports to weaponize and not look ridiculous

I just realized something, this could technically work as a chug Guzzle. I know he doesn’t really look like Guzzle from the comics, but I swear if you keep the barrel on the top of his back he looks so much like Guzzle that I can’t not see him as Guzzle anymore. Also, to tighten up the ab joint, there’s a screw on one side, while it’s still a little loose it definitely helps.

Wow... I didn't think I gonna like the review of this figure that much. Like I had seen reviews of him allready more than view times, but your video if the most fun to watch. Also 4:40... It hurts to hear you had no faith in me. And yeah I was proud of that, I was going to give him the Doom Slayer's Helmet at the end but decided against it. It's a Toss up between the Titans Return Blitzwing, or the MMC Brawl. Those are both Great tanks bringing something unique to the table.

I think you have better uses for that money. For that one figure alone you could get like 5 deluxes. If you can find it on sale for like 60 bucks, go for it, but I think there are figures you will enjoy more for way less.
