Not gonna lie, I like the “beam rifle pink” effects. It’d probably look cool on obvious energy weapons like Seeker Null Rays. The Blue effects might work for thrusters, but not much else. Sorry to hear that two of them came broken.

This might be Star Wars, not Transformers, but blue energy blasts for goodies & pink/red for baddies. So the colors don't bother me. Enough they make me think of cotton candy & blue-pink swirled ice cream.

I guess you can say the blast effects really BURNED YOU UP. Also, I've got a head canon backstory for the Fossilizers. As part of a hairbrained scheme to gain his own army, Terrorsaur (with the aid of an unwitting Scorponok) gathered several Maximal protoforms and began reprogramming them into Predacons. However, due to Scorponok's pincer hands not letting him type well, he accidentally programmed the protoform pods' scanners to scan only the bones of their intended beast modes. As a result, Paleotrex, Skelivore (weird purple Paleotrex), Tricranius, Ractonite, Wingfinger, Spindle and Masterdominus were "born" with twisted, skeletal forms. Unfortunately for Terrorsaur, his attempted coup backfired horribly, resulting in Skelivore's death. The Fossilizers, furious at their "leader's" failure, struck out on their own and created a small "village" far from the Axalon and the Darksyde. On occasion, they teamed up with the Maximals, and one of them found the remains of a deeply damaged being that had once been torn between the Maximal Silverbolt and the Predacon Rampage. Thanks to some tinkering, they managed to reformat the being's remnants into a frame similar to Paleotrex and Skelivore's body-type. Personality-wise, they are: Paleotrex: inexperienced leader with a strong set of morals Skelivore: arrogant snotball Tricranius: crotchety old coot and team medic Ractonite: clumsy, well-intentioned bruiser Wingfinger: stoic, stealthy ninja Spindle: spunky, energetic little girl with hidden ferocity Masterdominus: knows nothing but how to fight; a weapon with legs All of them are Animated references. Can you guess who is who?

I think it was more the blast effects left me cold. You did more to justify the Fossilizers with Bios, than Hasbro did for the entire Weaponizer sub group.

my boyfriend got me this as an anniversary gift and I absolutely adore it the bulky triceratops head looks like a kind of shoulder pauldron shield combo and when u combine that with the eyes being visible even when the eye covering is flipped down and the dino tail lance. and the whole figure looks like sum kinda badass dinosaur cyberpunk future hologram knight and I love it

I had the exact same reaction when I saw Tricranius when it was announced and finally got one a few weeks ago! Now we just have to wait for a Saber tooth Tiger to make a Bone Megazord. Also apparently the 2 broken blast effects are meant to come like that, as they purposely didn't apply the glue to them. Honestly just give us the other 2 missing Blast Effects instead of breaking the ones we've got into useless parts.

I got Kingdom Ractonite, and he's alright. Then I got Tricranius here, and he's awesome. It's like a walking furnace, with the heat turn up to somewhere between ghost pepper and carolina reaper level of hot. The non-hands this mold had reminds of the hands from Beast Machines Longhorn, a transformers figure with a cybernetic bull alt mode where the front legs become the arms of the robot mode with no real hands on it

I took advantage of the 40% Hasbro Pulse sale and got Reboost, but my excitement was dampened when I remembered how it was shipped. In addition to Pulse, FedEx can go shirtless, chest first, down an old metal slide in the Florida summer heat. I got this and skipped Ractonite. I really was interested in the blast effects, and I was not disappointed. I consider the blues to be ice/water and the pink to be lava based. Whatever caused him to be translucent I consider to be elemental based and I figure he can power up the others to utilize ice/water and lava in cases where it would help.

the different colors absolutelly sell the figure. while I get the "somewhat realsitic" color release, they should have went with "protoform overloaded with radiation" or some such and give us the altered colors as the retail, it would have been a better sell on an unrelated note, I'm happy the modular design are still on, figures accessorizing other figures has been somewhat a mainstay since the unicron trilogy and having it on a wider assortment is just a good thing

I'd headcanon the Fossilizers (all of them, INCLUDING Wingfinger and Vertebreak) as creations/agents of the Vok, the energy of those aliens giving "life" to the dinosaur skeletons found on prehistoric Earth where the Beast Wars happened. (And by Fossilizers, I mean just the mainline ones, not really the garish paint job ones, nor any army building.) Just a thought. (I haven't watched Beast Wars, but I HAVE read the first three issues of IDW's 2021 Beast Wars comics AND seen Kingdom.) (And this kind of characterization I've given the Fossilizers makes me wonder why they were never incorporated into those comics, and to an extent the Kingdom show.)

Have been meaning to pick this guy up, especially as it has been dropping to a more reasonable price tag. Reason for it was cause I admittingly like the figure (even with it's faults) and I like how these colours work for the character, as well as the blast effects, even if they are pretty weak with the colour choices. I did swap around Ractonite's arm pieces, so now it uses the Dino head as a hand, but at the cost of a naff elbow joint and lack of fancy shoulder ^^;

0:25 yess here in my country the only thing they have in Walmart are only 1 SS blitzwing and 1 Shatter for like $45 and a leader class SS dotm Optimus and Megatron for $85 that have been shelf warming for like 3-4 years, some micromasters and that's it. I find it very dumb that they feel the need of putting a lot of languages on the figures boxes yet they cannot ship the figures to the places they speak those languages.

I love this guy! Looks way cooler than Ractonite! When I saw this guy and Transmutate, I knew I needed them to combine them with Wingfinger! That way the fossiliser combiner will be a Maximal! It does not make any sense when you got a combiner composed from 2 predacons and 1 Maximal! This colors are the best!

I really want to get this guy still! Ractonite is possibly my favourite wfc figure or at least top 3! I know he's kinda lame in some aspects but he poses well, the gun hand and tail blade are unique instead of hands although at first I admit I was unsure about if for the longest time before I bought It, his fossilising modes are all lame and it really helps if you bend the alt mode legs to look more natural even if he is a brick but overall I don't know why this guy hasn't left deskbot status since I got him but its been months and I still can't put him down! And the tricranius colors are super pretty and make combining even more fun!

@@PerspectiveEnd When I got mine, the left arm was cracked right out of the box at the wrist, so that sucked. Also the joint tolerances are wildly inconsistent, with some joints nice and tight, but some being so loose that it becomes a chore to pose and mess around with. The joints are so loose on mine he can't even stand properly in Trex mode without falling over, and in robot mode the waist is so loose that it the entire thing spins like crazy or just straight up falls in half.
