FWIW, I think there is a huge difference between my type of theological “liberalism” such as believing parts of the Bible are allegorical or that certain messages were meant as messages to the peoples of their society … and the extremists in some Mainline churches saying the Resurrection is metaphorical. You can agree to disagree, but one is theological liberalism, the other isn’t Christian.

In my opinion, liberals are generally adoptionists, universalists, stressing morality and the exemple of jesus, have a low view of scripture and a high view of human progress, dont talk about sin, abbhor penal substitionary atonement, stress the brotherhood of Man and relitivize dogmatic truth.

Your initial definition of theological conservatism about two minutes in is closer to theological fundamentalism (which, admittedly, is the most extreme conclusion of theological conservatism) than theological conservatism, more generally, itself.

What does this mean? Are you saying that Lutheranism leads to liberal theology? That Liberal theology leads to Nazism? Because both of those statements are untrue.
