Obeying your parents and obeying thr government is not a spiritual authority! the bible is speaking secularly here. Spiritually there is no authority but the word of God.

Hey man, I'd be really interested in a like exploration for how reformed theology works with other denominations. Not sure if people know but Methodism naturally subscribes to an Arminian doctrine. However many early members of the Methodist Revival Movement in the UK were Calvinistic Methodists. The Presbyterian Church of Wales is probably the most prominent example of this. In fact, outside of the resident Anglican church and Catholicism, it is one of the largest denominations in Wales, having a profound effect on the nation's culture. Anyways, become a big fan of your dedication and honesty, bravo.

Stop saying infinite 1:30 none of those are infinite unless they are repeating numbers, numbers only repeat if they don’t work very well and in that case, usually they stop after a while, people just put repeating afterwords because they don’t feel like writing 200k 0’s

Catholicism and Protestantism literally reject the Trinity and the Nicene Creed. All I had to do was look at the thumbnail to know this video is completely wrong.

@elijahcandage Protestantism and Catholicism hold to the filioque, which is a rejection of the Holy Trinity. The Nicene Creed states "The Credo begins with God the Father," but the filioque claims that Jesus the Son is equal in origin and influence to the Father, which means the filioque is an inherent rejection of the Nicene Creed.

havent watched 5 sec of vid n i think of obi wan saying “only a sith deals in absolutes,” which goes against the light sides core values if what he said did come from the “light side” in him(making him and what he stands for REALISTICALLY wrong). when good and evil are absolutes, righteousness and wickedness are absolutes, God/Light and Devil/Darkness are absolutes. They dont have fellowship or commonality with each other.
@imanuelbanks53 минут бұрын
Dark side pursuit is good, light sides allowance of differences bad
@johnweber457734 минут бұрын
@@imanuelbanks It’s precisely the opposite though. Obi-Wan may have had the “Only a Sith deals in absolutes,” line everyone remembers because it became a meme which can be interpreted in a couple of different ways with more or less nuance, but Palpatine outright sells Anakin on joining the Sith based on the idea that, "If one is to understand the great mystery one must study all it’s aspects, not just the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi. If you wish to become a complete and wise leader, you must embrace a larger view of the force.” It is the Jedi who explicitly repudiate the Dark Side and the Sith claiming to not distinguish between the various facets of the Force. Heck, it is also Palpatine who puts forward the idea that “Good is a point of view,” during the opera.

Catholics agree with the Orthodox that we will never comprehend the Divine Essence although we will “see Him as He is.” Palamas would say we will never see God in His essence but this comes from a different definition of the word “see”

A good place to start getting politically involved is to go to your local county/city council meetings. Even if you don’t have anything to say it might help build your social network with other Christians who are already politically involved.

After the "Does God interact with the universe?", there could be another question. "Is the Evil as powerful as the Good?". If not, then the religions in the video. If yes, then another question. "Will the Evil be destroyed in the End?" Yes - Zoroastrianism. No - Manicheanism.

The catholic Church's canon is still technically open and the small difference between the orthodox and catholic bibles could be resolved. Trent technically defined what was for sure in, not what could not be in.

I do not understand why you have chosen to block many of us on your Instagram. I might have disagreed with a lot of what you say, but I genuinely support you in your work. However, when we begin to block individuals for simply having different beliefs, it shows that we aren’t truly willing to understand and love one another. You posted a post on your insta showing something along the lines of Protestant tradition, in which I commented that it is not rational to state tradition is an aspect of Protestantism, hence Protestantism by its very nature has separated itself from the tradition of the apostolic churches. I then said “with love, my brother in Christ, please look into the church fathers and try to go to a church that gives the Eucharist and confession” in which you stated “nice word salad” then blocked me. I was saying this out of love, but my friend, your actions are not Christ like when it comes to this scenario, and I would pray that if I did the same I would be called out. May God have mercy on us all poor sinners. Amen. :)

Obviously, Jesus never said any of these ten-dollar words. And all a Jew had to do to become a Christian was to accept Jesus as the Messiah. This is why there is not a word in the Bible about the Trinity, Hell fire, immortal soul, etc. All these things came later, they are post biblical. Truth is at unity with itself. If the churches of Christendom were truly trying to follow Christ rather them building their own kingdoms, they would have long ago sat down together and compared their beliefs with scripture to find what the Bible teaches. The reason why this never happened is simple, each church believes in their doctrine more than they do the Bible. They are not seeking truth; they are looking for confirmation of their preexisting beliefs rather than being open to what the Bible teaches. To find the truth, you have to be looking for it. If you don’t have your eyes open, you can’t see it. The Truth has of course been found, and it is easy to spot those who have it, since they follow Jesus’ command to preach the god news of the kingdom. They probably show up on your doorstep pretty regularly with Bible in hand offering you a free home Bible study. That is what true Christianity looks like. You just need the open eyes to see it and an open heart to accept it. “Now a man said to him: “Lord, are those being saved few?” He said to them: “Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able.” (Luke 13:23, 24)

How can I get in touch with you? I am on a path to find a denomination that fits me. I view myself as a servant of his Majesty Jesus Christ ❤
This is a poem I wrote after thinking about what people really believe versus merelly folliwing tradition for the sake of it Tradition Let's do away with tradition-see what a difference it makes! Maybe it's just what is needed-sorting the real from the fakes! If the construction is stable, then there's no need for concern. Some may well fall by the wayside, others will gladly return! Maybe a curious stranger might find the niche that she sought, No longer worried she'd falter or that her input falls short! She will be one of the thinkers ready to roll up her sleeves! Though, for a long time, she's held back, now people see she believes- Modestly helping where needed, never projecting herself, Keeping an eye out for others who could be left on the shelf. There will be some minor problems-progress is rarely routine But as the venture progresses, new opportunity's seen! Growth will become fundamental, building a beacon of hope, Lighting a way to a future where all will easily cope. Isn't it time that we pondered how far we''ve come and can go If we are freed of tradition? We need to change then we'll know!

BEING IN A DENOMINATION DOESN’T SAVE YOU. MOST OF THEM ARE NOT BIBLICALLY SOUND IN THEIR DOCTRINES. A LOT OF THEM NOW DAYS HAVE STRAYED FROM THE TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AND HIS SALVATION BY GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE. NO OTHER WAY FOR SALVATION. NOT OF ANYTHING WE COULD EVER DO TO EARN IT. ITS A GIFT FROM GOD THE FATHER. THEY DON’T TALK ABOUT SIN THAT WE ARE BORN IN AND SEPARATES US FROM GOD. THEY DON’T TALK ABOUT HELL AND THE LAKE OF FIRE WHERE YOU GO IF YOUR NOT SAVED. THEY DON’T TELL YOU THAT YOU MUST CONFESS YOUR SINFULNESS AND REPENT OF IT TOTALLY. SURRENDERING YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST AND HOW WE MUST LIVE FROM THAT TIME FORWARD FOR HIM BY HIS HOLY BIBLE AND NOT AS WE WERE LIVING FOR OURSELVES AND THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD. TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE CLAIMING TO BE CHRISTIANS BUT DON’T TRULY LIVE IT.
