I'm playing on the Switch version and you have to hear the gobbert laugh when you click him... he'll make a disappointed sound if you don't click it properly. Took me a few tries but it worked!

WHAT. A. PAIN. IN. THE. DICK! I keep running into at least one dude in the sequence that refuses to tell a joke! So, I've now taken to creating a save specifically for this stupid glitched out quest, and I go to the first one, get the joke, save. 2nd, get the joke, save. 3rd one refuses to tell the joke, reload from the save, go back to him, get the joke, save. And so on. Now I'm on dude # 6 and he just REFUSES to respond with a laugh, no matter how many times I hit A, no matter how many times I reload! THIS SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD!!! 👎😒

Wow, I never knew about this and I have owned the game for years. I made a new character that just finished the main story. Was level 30 and it really is a struggle to level up after 30. So this was a treat for me. I boosted him to level 50 and made him a champion with a destiny pick. I have all the other DLCs to start. Never did the new one with this remaster. But I'm taking my time exploring and not having to level up anymore is fun. Playing on max difficulty too. A tip for anyone having problems with the dev room not working. Make sure you do everything he said in the video but make sure you only do a single click on the items or it won't work. I made the mistake of clicking more than once thinking I missed the joke.

I've had other switch players comment it does work on Switch. So you have Fatesworn DLC? Are you making sure you're only clicking each boggart 1 time and not fast traveling between boggarts?

@@aevidaudi Yeah do not fast travel and click each bogat just once and have the latest expansion. I followed the video order of the bogats too. I had to do it 4 times myself. The one-click thing is important.

I have two characters with two sets of armors and weapons. I save the faction boss fights separately and then i load them separately to change the spec from a warrior to a assasin or to a sage or universalist or warden to see how i would do on a boss fight using different specs of the character. So far a assassin with pure finesse with a bow is to overpowered but i love it. The most challenging boss fights for me are using the might spec but not using the ignore interrupt skill. Forces me to be on my toes and dodge attacks more than just getting hit. The most fun is a battlemage spec wherein i have plate armor, chakrams with spells and might buffa

Wow that's really interesting! I think the beauty of this game is you can really play any style you want and if you build your character well, pretty much any play style can become OP. That's a fun idea though for sure, I've thought about making a save then fateweaving to respec different class combos - but I'm so stubborn I always end up just playing Universalist! 😅 I looove Finesse in this game, so many build options and the bow reminds me of some ESO abilities!

You just solved two reasons why I stopped playing this game. 1: It takes forever to level up just mindlessly do quests and level up once every two hours it feels. 2: Movement speed. Getting from place to place becomes a chore within itself. The character isn’t slow but the map is so big you just get bored easier. Not anymore time to create the ultimate build. THANK YOU FOR THIS. 💯

The first pet was actually a "Scav," not Niskaru. And the see thru guy was a fateghost

Excellent guide. I appreciate that you explained what exactly is in those chest and how they work. Also, I've never seen that second chest. It seems it was added in the latest patch. Do you think the pet flute could have any utility in combat, if only as a distraction from you?

Thank you for all your advice and suggestions which helped inspire me to make this video! Yes, I think that might be a good use of the Pet Flute since I actually use the Faer Gorta for pretty much the same purpose on my higher level character. The only issue is the Pet Flute seems to be a bit finicky? I need to do more testing to see if it can be used consistently, but the few times I used it I couldn't seem to get it to work again after the 5mins passed - though I didn't fully test out fast traveling, reloading, or anything like that to fix it. I'll need to do more testing!

Hey there! I haven't personally experienced any bugs on my end (Xbox Series X), but that sounds like a good idea! My fave part about Fatesworn is that it really does feel like a part of the original KoA - probably because some people from the original game came back to help develop it!

the only bad thing about this dev room is when you get the vip pass and use it you can’t level up once it’s used it didn’t give me any exp at all idk if it’s a glitch

The VIP Pass just bumps you up to max level - which includes the total ability points and skill points you would have obtained normally. It also adds a handful armor and weapon sets. It's great for a second playthrough if you're wanting a NG+

Hi there! Check the other comments of this comment section or the reddit thread I linked in my description. It's a common issue, usually resolved by going through the process again and making sure you're clicking on each boggart, in order, only 1 time each, without fast traveling in between. Also, make sure you have Fatesworn installed. Good luck!

I am pretty sure it's unlocked through normal gameplay, and the VIP Pass just unlocks it for you immediately - though I haven't gotten that far on my main save yet to confirm!

Hi, i actually did this and it worked, however, there is just one loot box, i am missing the ones wity the VIP pass, i reload my last save and redone the process but its the same, I am not sure if it has been updated or I dunno, any idea whats wrong this glitch?

If you only have 1 chest instead of 2 that might mean you either don't have Fatesworn DLC installed or are missing the most recent update

Always play every game however makes you happy! If it were me, I would say it's okay to visit on the first run, but maybe don't grab the Victory Games VIP Pass, Ring of Ludicrous Speed, or the Pet Flute. I think the stash/Backpack upgrades are okay. Carrying more stuff isn't going to really change much other than you making less trips to sell stuff. If you're a collector, the extra stash space means you can store most every unique item or book you find. Though you might could argue even those items would be more fun on like a New Game+. I would use the other items on later playthroughs. The Victory Games Pass could be used like a New Game+. The Pet Flute and Ring of Ludicrous Speed could spice up the old gameplay. It's all up to you! Have fun ❤

Hi there! I found this comment on reddit that might offer a solution. Try sleeping 24 hours to reset the boggarts in case you messed up the sequence, then try again. Let me know if this helps! Yes, this is in Re-Reckoning as part of the most recent Fatesworn update. All fast traveling does is reset the boggarts if you haven't unlocked the Boggart Fight Club yet. Fast traveling is fine in any part of the game as usual - but if you want to unlock the Boggart Fight Club, you can't fast travel once you start clicking on the 6 boggarts until you reach the final one in Gorhart Inn.

Yes, make sure you're only clicking each boggart 1 time, otherwise it could mess up the pattern and you'll have to fast travel to another zone and come back to reset them. If it helps, turn up your volume and be very meticulous about each click - you got this!

@marc_ou7064 if you're playing on Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, with Fatesworn DLC installed, and the latest update patch, then you should see two chests in the dev room. When you look at the Boggart in Gorhart Inn, does it say 'Boggart Fight Club'? If you clicked on each of the boggarts in the video, in order, the final Boggart in the inn will let you enter the dev room, and that's where the two chests are

Hey there! So I'm not sure if there's an issue with PS4 versions, but there is a thread on reddit you can check out that has possible solutions, pasted below. The main troubleshooting options I see is making sure you're only clicking on each boggart 1 time. Make sure you try to stand at different spots around the Boggart at the inn in case it's an angle issue. Try fast traveling away to another zone, sleeping for 24 hours, then traveling back to reset the zone to try the boggarts again. I'm sorry I'm not of more help! Hey there! There's quite a few things that could cause that. Do you have Fatesworn DLC? Do you have the latest patch? Make sure to only click on each boggart 1 time, in order, and without fast traveling until you click on the last one in Gorhart Inn. If it didn't work, you can try to reset them by fast traveling to another zone, sleep for 24 hours or so, then fast travel back and try again. I haven't experienced any issues myself on Xbox Series X, but those are some solutions others have commented Let me know if any of that helps! Good luck!

The Secret Dev Room video is for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re- Reckoning, which was released on PS4, Xbox One, Windows, and Nintendo Switch in 2020.
