69 years old, and my kids and now my grandkids have opened their Christmas presents to The Temptations, Silent Night every year since it was released. It's absolutely the best version I have ever heard.

Mr. MELVIN FRANKLIN on the bass. Rest In Peace Melvin, and all of the Temptations. Mr. [Dr.] Otis Williiams is still with us at age 82 performing with today's members of the Temptations. You would never think that he was 82. He's the one who actually put the group together when they were in their early, early twenties.

That entire Christmas Album....is a just put it on and let it play. I remember when my eldest brother who is now 80 years old. Brought this home from DC one Christmas when he was in college. Rudolph, & All I want for Christmas are just a few of my favorites from the album.

Great reaction! This track is a classic!!! But ppl are incorrect thinking the falsetto on this track is Eddie Kendricks, it is not. He had already left the group when this came out in 1980. The falsetto singing lead is Glenn Leonard. Leonard also sang lead on “Give Love at Christmas”.
