I never wept so hard as when I arrived at my Moms house from the hospital where she was now on a life support having suffered a devastating stroke. Though the machines where keeping her alive, she was brain dead and would soon be gone away. As I walked into her house, I sat down on her loveseat and looked up as to talk to God. It was then that I saw the water stains on the ceiling that had been caused by rain. Something she had asked me to take a look at and fix, but that I never made time for. So let me correct what I said at the beginning. I didn’t just weep.. I grabbed a pillow off the couch and buried my face into it and wailed. From that day forward, I vowed to take time to make time for all those that I love. A lesson painfully leaned.

When i first heard this song i actually broke down crying as i lost my mum to cancer at that time. They really do put the emotion into this song. I would love to see your reaction to Celine Dions Goodbye.

It has been 22 years since I lost Mom. The sting of it is still fresh to me. She died in 2001(terrible year), I still shed a tear on the day she passed. I promised her a granddaughter. I was a year late. I believe my Mom's spirit is in her.

I lost my mother a year ago and I'm still not close to ending my grieving process. The weirdest part is the fact that my children played this for me, while not leaving my side the day she died. I'm telling you--my children and husband got me through the worst part of.
