I love "Baby, It's Cold Outside" but "Mission: Jingle Bells" is my all time favorite VP Christmas song. It's so original & the Mission Impossible theme (from the 1960's TV series) has been a favorite of mine for years. I don't think anyone mentioned it but the voice of the Evil Guy is Eli. Shoshana is a Broadway star. You should check out her doing She Used to Be Mine. It is amazing! I was blown away and it made me a fan. As for Baby, It's Cold, from what I saw on an analysis of it, for the time it was written, it wasn't creepy. The way it is coded is that the woman wants to stay, but knows she can't do so without being branded a floozy, so she has to make these excuses. The man is providing the arguments that people won't notice because of the weather. Btw, calling out and not promoting ignoring bad parts of society doesn't mean we don't have a sense of humor anymore, it means we have a sense if decency now. I don't think you meant it to, but it just hurt to hear you say that.

Did they do this before the #metoo movement? I cringed when she got up to leave and he grabbed her arm. Before metoo I never would've thought anything was bad about it. I watched the second one on Christmas Eve. I really appreciate the sacrifice yet make as a reactor. When we hear a new group we like we can go binge on their old videos. You don't have that luxury. If you did that you would feel disloyal to your subscribers.

Late comment but if you look at the description of the original video they've made another version of the lyrics that clearly show that they also find the lyrics a little uncomfortable. It says something like the girl saying no and the guy saying "okay let me get your coat"
