How posh are we?! Believe it or not this train cost a whopping 16 million dollars to build! 😲 Think you could handle the altitude sickness at 4328m? (14,000ft)

As a person living at high altitude in Huaraz, Peru and organising tours and treks at high altitude for the last 12 years, my advice is not to take any pills, but rather to avoid alcohol and drink coffee in moderation and instead to drink plenty of water and coca tea (at least 3 litres per person per day). TBH I am surprised that they would serve so much alcohol on a train like this (a recipe for disaster) and that the nurse did not offer better advice to avoid altitude sickness.

Right up our street guys. Absolutely brilliant. Must tell you the story about the reed village. We saw Flying the Nest visit one such village. And when they were leaving on this boat, the villagers started waving and singing a song. I thought it was something local. But then the Bunny joined in!! I asked how did she know the song. It turned out to a 1983 disco hit in Spain by Italian duo Righeira called Vamos a la playa (Let's go to the beach). I wondered how did villagers on reed islands know the song. If they all had big radios like the one in your video, then there's your answer.
