Great review man! I have grown to absolutely love this one too! Mine came running Multishot while the AR Fun came running Dshot600 but in comparison, the GT flies a heck of a lot smoother in my opinion! It's only flaws are its lack of OSD and lack of buzzer. Although, I think you really only need 1! Nice flying too!

Thanks man. OSD isn't really an issue for me as it seems to cut power before it can do lipo damage. The buzzer would really be nice thought especially if lost as it's so small. It really is amazing though to fly something this small and have so much power and distance all while flying so smooth :) I'm glad I didn't smash it into anything. I totolled the NH Pro 200 before I flew this one that day and was a little bummed but this flew so well all the sadness went away :)

I've had my KK 90GT for about 6 weeks and for the most part have enjoyed it. I did make some changes. First off, I didn't like where they just stuck the RX under the battery, so I added a 1/4" spacer to the standoffs holding the VTX top plate, which gave me enough room to stick (with sticky tape) the RX right under the VTX. I found several problems with the VTX/Camera setup. First of all, the camera came out of focus, so I had to rotate the lens while watching a FPV monitor to bring it back into focus (other reviewers have had this same problem). Since the VTX has only 16 channels, and my favorite band/ch. was not on it, I had to use another channel, but I was able to get one where I only needed to change the band and keep the same ch. that the rest of my quads run on (A3 .. put the 90GT on D3 .. so a couple of presses on the band changes the receive freq.). I found that I was getting more breakup in the video than I like for flying FPV, so I wound up removing the installed VTX/Cam and replacing it with a TX01 with monopole antenna, which gives me all 40 channels. For batteries, I had some 300mah Nano Tech 35-70C batteries which work fine, and also got some Zippy 350mah 25C batteries, which also work fine. A draw back is that the FC has no 'buzzer' pads, so you cannot easily install a beeper to give you a batter low warning (and no OSD to monitor it either). So, on my Taranis 9D+, I have an audible timer set up so that when I ARM and advance the throttle, it starts a timer running, and the Taranis voice announces "1 minute" ... "2 Minutes" ... etc. so I can stay on top of flight time. With the 300mah batts, I will bring it in after the 4 min. warning. With the 350mah batts, I'll go closer to 5 min, but its likely to fall out of the sky at 5 min +/- 15 seconds. I found the original props too fragile, and got some 3 blade DYS 2030s and some 4 blade FuriousFPV 1935 props. Both work better than the originals. I also updated Betaflight to v3.1.7 and tweaked the PIDs for a little snappier rolls/flips. Indoors I fly it in Angle mode, and outdoors in Horizon. Makes for a very controllable easy flier .. no stress. Glad you enjoyed yours .. thanks for the review. Cheers.

Right now i'm lovin my inductrix 200, flies like no other, that i have in my collection, lol. turns on a dime. Oh wish you could have done a total setup with betaflight or clean flight. Although there are many videos on youtube, most of these are hard to follow, even when they say it's for beginners or dummies. +Tom Francis Yes, it is FPV breakup. Normal for analog FPV but better quality antennas and Rx/tx electronics determines the quality.

This one looks absolutely crazy, I checked the pricing over on Gearbest and I'd even be able to import it without paying any EU toll, so it's definitely high on my list of potential starter FPV drones with acro. Especially since it sports that modular battery support. One thing that worries me slightly is the camera though, the lens sticks out quite a bit in front of the carbon fiber plate... Also there seems to be some sales on the Fatshark Dominator V3 and Quanum Genesis HD crossover goggles, which ones would you recommend?

+Edgewalker001 I really loved this one and it flew amazing stock as seen. I honestly haven't tested the Genesis goggles. The v3's are good but competition is getting hot and you can find better with more rf channel/band compatibility and scanners.

the 5.8 is for FPV link from Goggles to Quad. The 2.4 is just for control from controller to quad. they need to be different so they don't interfere with each other.

I fly pretty good, but am new (well, retarded) at setting up stuff. I found the 90GT on E-bay that is setup with a Flysky FSi6. It says it is installed, tuned, & tested. Would it work good with that transmitter, or should I get a better transmitter, and try to figure out how to set it up? Great video & review!

+HumbleHeartMinistry It's already got a flysky receiver innit so easiest way would be to get the same protocol transmitter. You'll have to change the receiver in the quad if you get a different transmitter protocol ie: Frsky
